Brand Evatt

We had a decent thread a while back discussing Evatt’s philosophies and approach to the game (think it got tainted and pulled)

So not a bad time to start it up again at the beginning of the season.

In the main he’s done a fantastic job. A minority lost patience round about Xmas/New Year in both seasons.

But surely now he has the large backing of the majority of fans and the brand he talked about implementing here is now well and truly established.

Good article above highlighting how he’s using Sport Science to get the squad performing to it’s optimum level.

A young, meticulous, intelligent and passionate individual, who we are very lucky to have leading our club.

I hope he gets what he deserves with promotion to the Championship.

All the analysis and data aside, I just don't get how the board can seriously be sat thinking anything else but that change needs to happen. And if they think that Evatt can be the one to change

Not sure that many of the best ones have picked fights with the fan base.

Maybe.

How many have gone on to manage at the top level I wonder.

Will be fondly remembered. Did a great job and built solid foundations, should have been put out his misery long before now though. I wish him well.

That's generous

Think it'll take a while to look back and find the fondness, it just went on for too long and got too sour.

It's the correct decision, just come far too late, a massive dropped bollock by this board. Let's see and hope they recover well.

Are there any names out there who could come in a give us hope of a play off promotion? Schumacher only name that stands out.

Keep hearing shouts for Buckingham who is god awful, had Oxford parking the bus from day one.

Thought it would happen today after he was on the pitch arguing with the opposition he needs a break from football, I reckon the board have somebody in mind.

Schumacher really doesn't do it for me

No idea who but experience of promotion and doing well in championship would tick boxes

Lots of decent options recently got new jobs like Neil,Robbins, Mowbray and to a lesser extent Rowett

So, Schumacher then?

I'm with you on Schumacher. Think he took over a pretty decent Plymouth team assembled by Lowe. Then didnt really cut it in teh Champ with Stoke.

They all have new clubs.

Good.

Fuck off.

Should have gone after Oxford.

Could be Mark Warburton he had dealings with Sharon’s group previously .

I think I'd prefer Lowe over Schumacher.

Thank fuck.

Can start getting excited again now.

Thanks for achieving what looked at one stage impossible in getting out of League Two.

Thanks for the memories in the Papa John’s.

Just wish it had all happened a few months ago before it all turned sour.

Onwards and upwards now. Be nice to have a united front at Huddersfield on Saturday.

Exactly what he said! :)

Good news, but what a time to do it.

Just agreed to flog our best striker, spend big on a player we arguably didn't need, then got rid with barely any time left.

Ah well, cue the revelations.

All the best to him.

Lowe is Evatt Mk 2
