Tremendous result!

Looking at our opening nine fixtures (the opposition and results gained) you'd have to say we're vdefinitely much looking better than last season's ninth placed finish. On paper October, November and December provide far more "lower half of the table"/"small club" opposition. We are in a very, very handy position.

One potential upside of having so many big clubs/fallen giants in this league is that we can be just a little bit more under the radar than a club Bolton's size would have been in many previous third tier seasons. All the focus on Pompey/Ipswich/Sheff Weds today. Suits us down to the ground.

Some early tussles with their 7 ,who was a massive shithouse and was allowed to foul at will, put some fire in Kachunga's belly and I thought that was probably his best game for us.

Definitely his most aggressive! We were far the better team and for once got what we deserved

What did the No.8 do??

As said earlier not every game is going to be free flowing football but 3 points are 3 points. Peterborough were wankers to a man every fucking one of them total shithouses

We battled and got the points, deserved them as well.

I love a late winner

Was somehow always going to be a scruffy winner one way or another. Sooner or later we’re going to have to start taking the other chances, but this was a game we’d have dropped points at this stage in the last couple of years so got to be positive.

Was very impressed with the way their number 9 competed with Santos and although he came out on top a few times, he never looked like scoring so job done on that front.

Peterborough actually had some decent passages of play when they concentrated on doing that rather than twatting about. Must be very frustrating for any of their players who just want to get their foot on the ball and get on with it.

Thomason impeccable again.

Rest a few bodies for a fortnight and hopefully the same again. COYWM

Very hard fought win that.

they looked as decent as we looked off it in the first 25 mins but we slowly inched our way back in to it. You always knew we would come out better for the 2nd half after Evatt had got in to them and from there there was only 1 winner

after the guilt edged chances missed it was always going to take a goal like that.

thought Santos and Clarke-Harris just cancelled each other out of the game. Proper old school striker v attacker battle.

some wins feel bigger than the 3 points you’ve gained and that was definitely one of those

Peterborough looked okay first half of the 1st half but 6 losses in a row and 0 shots on goal (closest they got was probably when Trafford let the ball go under his boot in the first few minutes) they were lucky it finished only 1-0..

Thomason's passing was great and we looked really up for a battle, Bradley was excellent again I thought, despite his poor shot when put through

Don’t recall Trafford having any saves to make. Did really well a couple times as the sweeper. Nice to see us stand up to the physical stuff. I like how every player has got each other’s back. Proper team.

No shots on target. And no shots in the box. Great defending.

But that doesn’t tell you the story of Trafford’s game. As you say, great sweeper keeper today. And very Confident in crosses
