I think the one thing that really showed 2 tier policing was the copper telling the Muslims to leave their weapons.

I know the Labour guy was arrested and the Asian lads in Leeds got sent down and 27 have been arrested for Harehills and virtually no one was arrested at Tommys last rally but asking people to leave their weapons at home could only happen one way. (I have not verified if this is real or not 😂👍

Blows my mind that folk are still trying to push the two tier policing argument.

There is just no evidence, only the opposite.

The downfall videos are almost always rubbish but that one is incredible. The Farage riots haha.

Farage is a grifter? Who knew!? 😂

In 30 or 40 years, Farage will be absolutely detested, and will be viewed as a massive figure of fun, I've no doubt about that. Whilst he's currently, without a doubt, over if the most influential politicians of our time, time will also show him to be the most divisive and hated. His legacy will not be good.

Not that he'll give a fuck, he's made his money.

Do you not do social media?

I know, but folk still like him now. Give it time, nobody will, once they realise the damage he's caused

They said that after Brexit. He’s now an MP.

Indeed, which is why I'm talking about 30/40 years, it'll take time for people to realise,it'll take that long for us to see the impact. All IMO of course.

So is everyone 'team Tommy' or 'team Nigel' ?

They seem to have decided to not squabble in public, which is a shame.

There will always be people who like characters like that. Thankfully rarely it’s a majority who do.

Unfortunately, the majority followed him to vote for Brexit.
You can all call him whatever you like but he’s had a huge influence on UK/European politics.

If you want to know my opinion, look at the first word in my post.

Meh. Correlation and causation. They wouldn’t even let him on the big boys campaign. People said the same about Johnson a few years back. Grifters will find a way to pretend they’ve shaped the agenda - I suspect the very clever data targeting of Cummings lot had more effect tbh.

I think I'm with @BobyBrno on this

Farage has been a hugely influential figure in British politics

Both UKIP and Reform were/are basically him and the parties won millions of votes whilst he's been their leader

The movement of votes from Tory to Reform in the GE this year alone demonstrates how big a figure he is

Did you not vote for him last month?

No. I voted for Julie.
Have you ever heard of Clothespin Vote? It’s popular in France. The French are more sophisticated when it comes to voting.

Disagree. We’ve just had an election. We saw how many are prepared to vote for him. Millions of those who voted for Brexit would have thought twice if Farage was leading the campaign. I know plenty in that boat.

Be more than happy to label the Brexit disaster as his though. Bit like the riots he doesn’t like to own much after the event!

Your memory is short. There is no way Cameron would have promised a referendum if it wasn’t for the upsurge in support for Farage’s UKIP. These are facts. I didn’t like it, you didn’t like it but it’s a fact.

This has to be some of the worst footage I've seen. Utterly depressing.

Reading reports afterwards of immigrant and Muslim families terrified in their houses. You can see in the video a fella says 'if you're not white you're not coming through'.

The police are doing absolutely nothing, but in reality probably just can't cope with the scale of it.

Wasn’t Cameron more bothered by his erg rebels? He wanted to shut them down. And Cameron didn’t think he’d lose.

I think he’s influential among a particular group of elitist politicians but much of that influence is very recent and due to the mess the Tories were in.
