Yep. I think Parky being here next season is quite possible depending upon timing of things. But him helping an administrator however he can is a good thing. Parky has done an awful lot for the club and should be thanked instead of abused. He's a good sort.3 likes

I'm not a religious man in the slightest but from reading that massive praise has to go to Phil Mason the club chaplain. If all religious bods acted like him the world would be a much better place. Hope when all this dies down he gets the recognition he deserves.3 likes

I remember when Kevin Davies was suspended and we had Diouf and anelka upfront. We didn’t just lump it, instead we played to the strengths of the players we had. When Madine was injured or suspended we played le fondre upfront. Parkinson decided to continue in the exact same style as if Madine was there. Needless to say we got done in by sheff Utd. Nothing to do with style. absolutely everything to do with complete tactical ineptness and a failure to correctly utilise the players you have personally bought and chosen.2 likes

Parky is a decent bloke and certainly not a cunt. Unfortunately none of that makes him good enough to manage in the Championship. His record at a lower level is fine but it is time for a total clear out and he needs to move on.1 like

If Parky is still in charge come August, I'll be disappointed, but I'll still renew my season ticket.1 like

And both in context were very successful. More successful than we had a right to be given the players we had and the funding we had.1 like

May not have left us directly for Newcastle but if you don’t believe he already knew he had the job when he left us I think you may be a bit naive!!1 like

I’ll admit I’m in the party out brigade but only because I think it’s time for a change but I’ll put money on it most of the ones who are foaming at the mouth for him to go because of the style of football he plays are also the one creaming themselves at the thought of big Sam coming back. Irony in its purest form??? 😂1 like

Those people will find an excuse regardless. "Not going till Megson/Coyle/Freedman/Gartside/Parky...." goes. Its utter bullshit. Next season will be for the core fans because its going to be the grimmest season in the last 30 or so years. A fight for survival in league one with a squad assembled at best last minute, little planning and our better youngsters likely gone. I don't really think its going to be much more than 7-8K watching that regardless. And I personally think whether its Parky in charge or some other lower league manager the fans will moan either way.1 like

phill parkinson will know the youth players worth fighting for. and helping the admin team with that is nothing more then commendable.1 like

People can play the "He has had a tough job" all they like. he is awful to watch tactically. He should have been sacked when he started Wilbraham upfront against forest. If he is in charge next season we will struggle to hit gates of 7k home fans.1 like

Never quite understood why being a top bloke, caring for and helping people, is somehow associated with religion. 2 completely separate entities. One is an undoubted force for good we should all aspire to & the other is just a way of life for some that is no more relevant than football & sport is for me.1 like

God bless the member of staff at the end of the report, it goes to show how much they care. "The EFL have been a disgrace, we have had nothing from them, no calls to say they support us, nothing. They were quick to take 12 points off us mind" Not been paid for a couple of months, struggling big with council tax bills etc and the member of staff is more bothered about the points deduction. I hope that member of staff wins the lottery and has good health into later life, what a bloody star.1 like

Full page article in todays Daily Mail. Jesus its worse than i thought, never knew it was so bad for the staff, seriously. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-7033459/Bolton-players-pain-demise-impact-non-playing-staff-truly-horrific.html1 like

I'm sorry but tripe without vinegar is sacrilege. And cowheel needs serious boiling, preferably with barley, carrots and onions so it is inevitably a delicious, gelatinous and partially nutritious stew.1 like

This. Also Bar Sijf off Oude binnenweg worth a visit for good beer and food and music. Look out for statue of Father Christmas holding a butt plug and turn right. Im doing cycle tour in that area at the moment. Currently in Leiden. There are good beers here but you have to find them. If you’re in Rotterdam on a Sunday try Fénix Food factory near Hotel New York for something a bit different. Alstublieft.1 like

yeah, I was sort of happy for them to go up, but at the same time, like with Liverpool and a PL title, the longer they keep on missing out, the funnier it gets to the point I reckon we're probably in a position to produce a Leeds Championship Boom Bust graph and if Villa go down the same route, that too will provide much mirth1 like
