Something like "managers don't pick players, players pick themselves by how they perform on the pitch". I was hoping John would be back in ahead of Beck to bring that balance back to the side. Agree John is a decent player, but can also see the extra solidity of Iredale. That notwithstanding, if John has spat his dummy out, then his abilities become somewhat irrelevant. For me as soon as he signed his contract and had security he lost interest. Many rave about him going forward. He was ok. Defensively piss poor. Been bombed out of every club he’s been at.
