Wanderers Ways. Neil Thompson 1961-2021

RIP Alan

Recommended Posts

Another Atherton White was laid to rest today, Alan Shone 66 years old, always a Wanderer, he was responsible for my away matches in the 70's, in the mid 70's he 'starred' on Granada news as the football hooligan who had just got the biggest fine ever handed out for fighting at Blackpool, not a tag he was happy with

RIP Alan

No pal my Dads driving back. They are having another little wake for him in the club where Roy went for all the fylde coast crew.

Think my Dads had enough of driving back on night games in winter, was torrential after that Luton game :(

as is radcliffe

overdale really is grim

Overdale has improved massively over the last 12 months or so. The jungle of rhododendron bushes have been chopped back and it looks 100% better. I didn’t even know there was a lake with fountain in the grounds.
