It’s amazing how quickly folk forget how much hard work has been put in by Evatt and his team since he came here and how far the team and squad has come, replace him and get the wrong manager and back

Every game is crucial at this stage, need to be on it against a desperate Charlton team that will be fighting for their lives, especially under new management.

Could do with a bit of luck and from elsewhere for once too tomorrow. Some penalty and red card decisions going our way and not the way of our opposition or Pompey for that matter.

Hoping also for a Steve Evans masterclass away at Derby.

Hearing that the Rams might potentially be without their key goalscorer and only available striker Collins.

Id keep Santos back

I think Cambridge is the tougher game and id be cautious with him

I agree, also gives that extra time for Rico to get back to fitness. I’d personally stick with Ogbeta with his pace and skill down the left and let’s see how AC and Vic do up front.

Win this as usual.. these lot are our biggest bunnies ever. Well , in my lifetime at least

Collins to bag a brace.

Off topic but Derby have got 1350 tickets for Bristol Rovers.

Also a bit off topic, but after tomorrow we've only got one Saturday home game before mid April (Cambridge).

3 points tomorrow for him will do nicely.

Don't want to be dealing with any more negative shit, so I'll not be on here if we lose.

It's going to be very tough tomorrow without some key players, hope this is taken into account before folk start piling in with doom and gloom and criticism.

BWFC should be our happy place to go to when times are shit. And if it doesn't go our way it's not the end of the world, just remember that before you start on Evatt, Vic, Maghoma, Taylor, Coleman or whichever player takes your fancy, all of them will be going out there to do the best for the club we love.

Condolences, C. Some things are bigger than the outcome of a football game.

They relegated us once, to the 3rd division, in 1970-71.

I became a bit 'what's the point of supporting these, they're rubbish' and my dad told me off for being a quitter. All 'this is the time you show your mettle' sort of thing.

I took that to heart.

Good.

More chance of tickets for the rest of us.

And in 1983.

Think we've relegated them twice as well, and at least 2 of the relegating results were 4-1.

3-2 .  A Collins brace and iredale

I was getting a bit carried away there. We've (sort of, in a final nail in the coffin way) relegated them once vs them relegating us twice (bastards).

If anyone's interested, the three matches were:

17 Apr 1971    Charlton Athletic v Bolton Wanderers L 4-1    League Division Two

We were 4 points behind Charlton in 20th with 3 games remaining. This game sealed our relegation. Charlton stayed up in 20th.

14 May 1983    Charlton Athletic v Bolton Wanderers     L 4-1    League Division Two

Last game of the season. We were a point behind Charlton in 19th needing a win to stay up.

19 Apr 2016    Bolton Wanderers v Charlton Athletic     D 0-0    League Championship

We were adrift at the bottom, Charlton 1 place above us, 11 points from safety with 4 games to play. A bit academic, but the draw sealed their fate (not that it did us any good).

Typically goals in this fixture - only five goalless games in 96 compared with 31 games where at least one team has scored 3 or more.

Reckon we're due another 4-1. There've been 8 of them, 6 for us including last game at Burnden and two for them, both relegating us.
