The problem is when this team is in the trenches, they come out waving the white flag time & time again.

They didn't wave the white flag in the slightest.

The better team lost today.

Not sure Evatt's got the psychology right over the last few weeks repeatedly mentioning the injuries and schedule and the need to get to the international break. Flipside is we should be buzzing after the break with some of our injuries coming back.

I'm not in anyway underplaying the effect of the schedule and injuries btw.

Anyway, we'll still go up one way or t'other.

We're not catching Portsmouth and Warne will have enough nouse to keep Derby getting results, it's what he does. The only thing I would say for the play offs is we are overdue some luck.

And the Wembley pitch will suit or style

Maybe that’s why there on the bench

I was on about Derby's subs.

We're just really thin on numbers. Ordinarily we'd probably have are starting strikers on the bench and Mendes Gomez ready to bring on too.

Been so unlucky with injuries haven't we? But that's football!

They were shit & we were shit imo, not one of our players had a good game.

I thought we played very well. No stand outs admittedly but as a side we were streets ahead of Derby.

He’s done that before… be careful though you can’t say anything negative about him, his all round game today again was bang average ( I am being generous) ….. wasn’t on his own though.

Honestly can’t fault them. Worked their nuts off and did everything but score. Such a soft goal to concede but it was the only way we were losing that game.

Just listening to Radio Derby on the way out and Warne is talking of not fancying facing us in the play offs, work that one out!

You don't get points for possession. You don’t get points for being unlucky. Too many points lost in the BIG matches. You don’t learn character on coaching courses or FIFA 2026 or whatever. We don’t have it.
