Just went on that Walsh site - they seem to have loads of really nice trainers that look good and also different from wearing NB like everyone else.

Love these - in fact all their European range looks good.

Supposed to be uncomfortable as fuck.

Some of the styles look better than a lot of repetitive stuff Adidas pumps out.

Looked into their collab with Community Clothing but didn't have my size at the time and honestly don't need anymore trainers.

Interesting comment about everybody wearing NB

I dont think thats the case up here, id still put em behind adidas and nike, though i do own a couple of pairs

Partly cos im old and partly cos i dont think adidas flat soles help the old lower back

Well smart them! Don't understand why people knock them? Presumably because they're from Bolton?

I used to own a pair a few years back and I wouldn't describe them as uncomfortable.

Well itd be boring if we all liked the same thing, I like those. Love a bright trainer.

As for being uncomfortable after years of wearing converse I'm now immune to pain.

Everyone seems to have on NB 327s or Vejas. I like NB but those 327s only look good if you've got small feet, so with size 11 it's a no from me.

Adidas Gazelles are the footwear equivalent of a Superdry t-shirt 😁

I've been wearing them since the mid sixties mate. Genuine 'classics'.

'Superdry' tee shirts must have passed me by. Well they would wouldn't they.

They always told me they'd come back into fashion. They'll go out again but not at Bolty Towers.

Bolty you and I agree on very little, but on trainers we have common ground. New Balance are worn by geography teachers and  people who spend weekends comparing prices in carpet shops even when they do not need any carpet.

Adidas are classics pure and simple.

I once bought a pair of converse, and they, believe it or not, are a million time less comfortable than the pair of Walsh I once bought. Both were shit, and made their way to the charity shop after a single wear. How folk wear Converse day in day out is beyond me

With great pain to try and look good. They're OK for knocking about it but you can't be on your feet on them all day, like walking on the floor after a bit. I still like canvas style converse but adidas do their Nizzas which are loads more comfortable but same sort of look. Mind you, they last about 6 months before they fall apart so only good for buying for summer.
