mickbrown Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 Virgin are trying to bankrupt me but Sky have an ace deal - no dish just using a streaming box. Anybody got that? Any good? The virgin one works just fine, but I've only ever had sky through a dish before. Quote

only1swanny Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 sky creep the bill up, just check how long the offers are that make up the deal, We had them quote low and the "line rental" was only 6 months at a cheap rate then doubled Quote

dave2980 Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 Sky Stream is better than Virgin Stream, I think. Sky Stream allows you to use any broadband supplier, while Virgin Stream only works with Virgin broadband. My best mate has Sky Stream, I've never noticed any issue with it Quote
mickbrown Posted January 9, 2025 Author Posted January 9, 2025 Cheers chaps - I'll feck virgin off then Quote

bolton in bedford Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 I’ve just sacked Sky off after 20 odd years. When we had a mistake with our bill they didn’t care and no interest in sorting it. Quote
royal white Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 Anyone paying for Sky tv in 2024 either has to much money or is a bit stupid…..or both. Quote
gonzo Posted January 9, 2025 Posted January 9, 2025 I'd be telling Virgin about your sky offer before you do anything.... Quote

We have a dish, very rare we have issues. Costs about 90 quid a month for full package, with netflix, sports and broadband. Quote

Back in the early days of OnDigital a mate at work sorted me with a dodgy card - was a bit of green plastic with a load of chips and transformers and shit moonted to it. Had to give it to him every week to get it reprogrammed. Never been arsed since Quote

I think we have been with them for 27 years under their various names . This has been the nearest i've come to binning them though . Edited January 9, 2025 by dusan nikolic Quote

Switch on and off subscriptions when I want and need them, good fornus considering I've not actually watched a second of TV this week and that's pretty usual. Quote
