Not surprisingly I'd not heard of most of the acts at the Brits last night but what about those bands you have heard of, yet as far as you're aware, you've never heard any of their stuff?

Thought Billy Irish was a bloke.

Used to go to a place where the lady on the reception was always very chatty.

She was probably mid to late 50s and it would be small talk but often about TV or music, she was the type that would like Barry Manilow or the Beegees and i know she had seen (can't think of his name but think he died in the last couple of years & did Shirley bassey impersonation) loads of times.

Anyway you could have knocked me down with a feather on time when she could name every track on the first 2 Stiff Little Fingers albums.

Wouldn't recommend it to young lone females but if you do find yourself in vehicles with strangers you find they are normally very interesting people, weird usually but interesting non the less.

Once picked a bloke up near scotch corner years before Ruud Gulliet ever retired playing and he told me that he would one day manage Newcastle utd, i was like whatever.

I was relatively in touch with most stuff when I worked in an office in town 

I controlled the office Spotify and speakers and the young uns would be asking for all sorts of stuff I'd never heard of 

But since working for myself for about 8 years I've not got a clue as I only listen to what I know

There are very few artists here I've even heard of

But from this in answer to the original question

I've decided to listen to all of Princes studio albums and  rank them 

40 in total 

I've listened to everything up until 1995 many many times

But he did another 23 since he did all that name changing phase that I don't think I've ever listened to
