In my opinion our form in the last 10 games-ish, when Cardiff and Lincoln pushed on, manifested in is dropping to 5th. That's limping into the play offs.

We were already in the play offs

We didn't limp in from anywhere

As above, no one had great consistency- including Cardiff.

Once it became unlikely to get second, we perhaps dropped off it a bit. Certainly defensively.

Probably true for those other teams around us.

Interesting approach over the two legs; it seems that we were looking to be more solid, and perhaps lose a touch of attacking flair.

Some giving Burstow a bit of grief, but he was on his own for both games, and they were both tight affairs, with not many clear cut chances for either team.

Getting Erhahon back in is huge, back to back clean sheets, no coincidence.

Kenny has been immense and will miss his attributes for sure.

But in the Stockport home game what stuck out was how light we were in midfield compared to them.

I know Kenny scored, but there were huge gaps in midfield and they were controlling with the likes of Norwood.

Having Sheehan, Erhahon and Rodirgues further up has been fantastic so far and will be key for Wembley.

We just look miles more balanced.

This! Would he have done this if Kenny was fit. I don't think so.

Suspect the injury to Kenny may have had some bearing on team selection/tactics.

Cannot get whites away I like it out of my head.

Continuous chants like that and the we are the only wanderers one are great for drowning out a home atmosphere

Absolutely.

Perhaps SS realised it wouldn't be easy to outscore the opposition, so chose a more solid, pragmatic approach.

Couldn't give a fuck if it a little more dull, with fewer chances. We got one more than them, and that's all we needed.

There definitely was a willingness just to put our boot through it, for the first 20mins, get them away from our goal.

And why not, melding this kind of pragmatism with the footballing philosophy is what is needed.

I really think JK getting injured has done us a favour, at least for these Bradford games.

It's never dull when there's so much jeopardy.. People texting me last night saying it was the worst game they'd ever seen, but I was totally gripped. Because of the tension...

In hindsight, had I been watching that as a neutral, I'd have struggled with it

I thought it was great tactics last night, especially early on to just pump it forward then crowd them as they tried to play through us......they just dont have enough about them to do that.

And a special mention for Sarcevic who was absolutely gash for 180 minutes 😃
