stevieb Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Just watching them v stoke. Gave away 2 pens, got 2 red cards and lost 2-1. They looked alright at HT at 1-1 then theyve just imploded int second half. Dont wanna jinx it but we couldnt be playing em at a better time methinks. 3 points for the white men next week? I fookin hope so!!!!
ph31 Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Spurs were awful. Next week they'll be without Dawson and Bale, probably Corluka as well and doubt king will be fit either. They're keeper cant catch, their midfield is a bunch of over rated pussys and I'd rather have pedersen than bent or pavlachenko. Their fans are sh1t and will be on their backs from the start. Long may their problems continue.

HazzyinBolton Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 well the ref was from Harwood - Probably just making sure they stay down there.
M G WHITES Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Spurs will go down, was a good game that was. They have good player's on paper but are not playing as a team, hope they dont sack Ramos till after we play them.

Gomes probably can catch its just he's foreign so he ALWAYS goes to punch it, kneeing his own players and damaging his ribs in the process! :::: Dawson lost it at the end, is it definately next week that his and bales bans will be in force? Good times if it is. Just hope they dont turn it round in a week. Bottom 3 at present is spurs, newcastle and stoke. Id take them 3 goin down all day!!!!
Tombwfc Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 They'll still beat is, and i'm an optimist. They aren't going to keep losing forever.

beer_swiller Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Typical Bolton, always have been and always will be. Next week whats the betting spurs get their first win? obvious innit. Beer swiller
Whizz Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Their keeper crying was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.
no balls Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 (edited) Their keeper crying was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. Now, you see, I passed comment on this Gomez bloke yesterday as seeing England's number 10 reminded me. Robinson might go to the pie shop a little too often, and has made a gaff or two BUT why on earth would you get rid of him for a South American goalie. They are shit! Edited October 19, 2008 by no balls
Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 If we sit off and play too deep we'll be fooked next week. The commentator saw it- their midfield can all use the ball but can't win it back. Hope Megson was watching and tells our lot to press them, and have a go. (Stoke did second half) With a weekened back line, shattered confidence, and a hostile crowd a good result can be got- but not if we're too feckin negative!
Tombwfc Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Either way lets hope Udinese give them a right kicking mid-week aswell.
Guest The Special One Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 nailed on fact they will beat us next week

cbwfcd Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Yep spurs doing shite = no points for us next week
Smiley Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 nailed on fact they will beat us next week I'm with you on that one.
tylswhite Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 We need to go and attack them and put them under the Kosh early on and they will crack imo. But we will sit back as usual and probably get beat!
Alf Hartigan Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 we should treat it as if we are playing at home. go for the jugular. drop muamba and gardener and play jussi steinsonn obrien cahill samuel davies nolan mccann taylor elmander riga not necessarily a 4-4-2, would be 3 up front if we got on top of them
bolty58 Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 (edited) Spurs will go down. Not a hope. If anyone will give you decent odds on their PL survival, snatch their fooking hands off. Glad to see the Bolton negativity is alive and kicking! Every fecker seems to be writing us off next week. Keep this upand Horwich might tip us to win just to be different. Personally, looks like a nailed on draw to me. Edited October 20, 2008 by bolty58
george Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 This is a great post by a Tottenham fan who tells it how it is. Gomes- I have never seen a goalkeeper so desperate to get the ball that he is willing to murder his own players. I saw him do this against us when he played for PSV. However I think he is a step up on fat robbo. Bale- a player who rates himself ever so highly, but in truth he is either a poor wing back or an average left midfielder. Woodgate- has the turning circle of an oil tanker and is certainly a man to go missing when he's needed. Corluka- has the turning circle of an oil truck stuck in traffic. Hutton - a top player and will grace a top team by the summer. Modric- surely the most over rated player we could have got for ?16m Bentley- gooner red ginger and shit with it, surely the most over rated player ever to command a price tag of ?16m-a joke Zokora - a headless clueless buffon of a player, he does however have nice teeth, which is just as well as he smiles an awful lot. Lennon- he will do well in the Championship next year, it really is his level. Jenas- to see this man wearing the captains armband is the biggest clue as to ramos' ineptness- I ragging hate them both. Bent- See Modric. A special mention has to go to our beanpole Pavlychenko who failed to win a single header despite the fact we just kept hoofing up to the red ginger. ?14m ???????????? Oh my God, why? I'd have given them a rating out of ten but in truth not one of them deserved even one.
MickyD Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 The problem as I see it: Plenty of injuries and red cards to prevent their first teamers playing against us. This will give us the problem that their second string players will want to come out and show their boss that they deserve to be on the pitch. We're in the sh?t!
Burndens Bogs Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 1, I don't think Spurs will go down, they've got too many good players 2, We are more than capable of beating them, we just need to play like we did at WHU - and have a bit of luck (like we did at WHU)
Zico Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 the problem we've got is that anything but 3 points will be deemed a failure
