MickyD Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 What's really needed is an extra box on the balot form. "None of the above listed get my vote" That way at least the party which gets in realise it isn't just apathy tat gets in the way of a large turnout at the polling stations.

Micky, that is one of the big beefs I have about the voting system down here. If you don't cast a vote, you get fined. I believe this is wrong - even though people have lost their lives in the past fighting for the right to vote. I see not voting as a protest vote and you should have that right without being penalised.

Get your name crossed of the roll next polling day and walk straight out of the door, I've been doing that for the last thirty years because the Labor Party and the Liberal/National Party are both wank.

Kinell Fred - I never realised that! I have been spoiling the vote papers! I'll vote properly when there's a WA Secessionist Party or an English National Party to vote for Smiffs for PM.
Ani Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Nick Griffin is entitled to his own opinion, its up to you whether you want to listen it... I dont agree with him and his believes but it gets on my bloody nerves when people ask him a question and when he tries to give an answer he gets shouted down... although it sounds like a contrediction becuase we live in a democracy and believe in free speech people are entitled to protest as well. with regards elections, from memory lasy election round here was local ones and i just wrote pissflips on the ballot form, i chose pissflaps because there 9 candidates and got a letter in each box. just not turning up is not a protest, spoiling your ballot paper is, for me it means you are bothered but none of the candidates deserve to win.

Oi, Little Whitt. When Ani finds you've hacked into his account, he'll be after you.

I'll vote properly when there's a WA Secessionist Party or an English National Party to vote for Smiffs for PM. The problem with spoiled papers is nobody knows if it was spoiled as a protest or because the voter wasn't inteligent enough to put an X in a single box. Both are just registered as "Spoiled ballot Paper" If the extra box was added, there would be no spoiling of the form and it would/could be included in the call off at the end. Mr Smith (Labour Party) 36,876 votes Mr Jones (Conservative Party) 39,465 votes Mr Wet-Flannel (Liberal Apologist Party) 237 votes Spoiled Papers 247 Votes of No Confidence in any of the above named 43,765 votes That'd give the Local and Central Governments a real head ache because anyone that comes along with his head on his shoulders instead of up his own or some other f?ckers arse would get in with the right manifesto. If, as some folk seem to think, it is the BNP then that is their right. What's needed is a party without the xenophobic stance up against BNP.

Gonk Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 I hear that the BBC have confirmed that the audience will contain some party members supporters too. No doubt there will be some from the other extreme. This could get very messy.. wonder wbat TSO is up to on Thursday?
Zozzy Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 You mentioned views changing, hence my high horse. Clearly his views haven't. I'm not talking about shouting him down but haraguing him and his ilk to justify their views. They are not a democratic party in the whole essense of their beliefs. You know me, I'm not a yoghurt knitter & hate any woman who doesn't shave her bits or a man who wears arran & sandals. I just hope they are hoisted by their own petard on Thursday. Having said that, I'm no fan of Straw either so I can't see me agreeing with anyone come Thursday evening. I heard him on an interview last year on either Radio 4 or 5, where he explained that he had changed his views on denying the extent of the extermination of the Jews, because it was a long time ago when he said it and a lot of new evidence has since been found.

Well, that's utter bollocks aswell. It was less than 15 years ago he stated his views & the evidence was all there then.

Spider Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Bear in mind that this isn't live and lasts around 2 hours for filming - editing will play a large part. Not sure who that will suit, like. Just saying etc..
Maggie Tate Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 If Griffin clods a banana at Bonnie wotsit will that make the cut, and secondly, can I request that Satan makes a photosop of said event even if it doesn't happen? It'll be easy to find a pic of him gesticulating with her in shot.

C86 Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 (edited) Clips of the show on BBC's web site. I shouldn't laugh but one quote from Nick Griffin to Jack Shaw made me chuckle,"My father was in the RAF and fought the Nazi's your father sat in jail becasue he wouldn't fight" (or words to that effect). OUCH. Edited October 22, 2009 by C86
Maggie Tate Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Oh dear It really seems as if he didn't do all that well
Spider Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Oh dear It really seems as if he didn't do all that well I get the feeling that all this will do is encourage more votes for the BNP. There are plenty of what Griffin would describe as his "demographic" who will be more inclined to vote when they normally wouldn't (they probably don't watch question time as a rule in any case) The only thing I will say in the BBC's favour is that they have done this before Christmas when an election looms next year - all this will thus be forgotten, as will the BNP by May. Mind you, if one fat bloke with a manky eye can make it to the top........

Spider Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 Does anyone? All MP are wankers They will tonight. The anti-fascist shower outside the BBC confirmed what a bunch of anal fucking warts they are an' all.
