Mounts Kipper Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 If Megson picks puts round pegs in round holes and uses a conventional formation that the players understand this might be a suprise result, here's hoping that Megson can send get his head round it. Jussi Steinson Obrien Cahill Gardner Lee Muamba Davies Taylor Klasnic Davies
Big City Girl Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 is it pay on the gate? Just rang the club and they said I'd have to ring back Friday afternoon to find out if it's pay on the gate. I'm not risking it, I'm off to buy tickets tonight.

Arrested development Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Fair enough pal. Don't you think then, considering Knight has been dropped for being shit, that Ricketts should also be dropped for being shit thus giving Steinsson at least a chance as showing some decent form? maybe yes. he deserves a chance. If ricketts doesn't improve defensively then megson probably should give steinsson a chance. The best defences though are the ones that are most settled so not sure how chopping and changing will help us improve defensively. but megson did show with knight that he his willing to drop underperformers so steinsson should be considered.
bwfcbromcross Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 Jussi Ricketts Cahill AOB Samuel Lee M.Davies Muamba Gardner K.Davies Klasnic 4-5-1 lose 3-0
Carlos Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Olhanense v Guimaraes better be fucking pay on the door.
jolly-olly Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) Bogey team = 2 nil to Fulham and even that donkey Zamora will score. I am praying we stop the rot though and get at least a point. That will mean we have to score as we are incapable of keeping a clean sheet. I see that Fulham beat Blackburn 3 nil last night. That's decided it....we've no chance. Edited November 26, 2009 by jolly-olly

magic legs Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 The level of rational thought in football supporters:- I now feel we will get something at Fulham on Saturday, now they have already beaten one NW team at home this week.
Tyldesley White Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I went last season and we were awful, i've been 3 times in recent years and we've been brushed aside far to easily on all 3 ocassions I can't see it changing, 3-1 loss
Traf Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Expect nothing at Fulham, then: (i) you won't be disappointed (ii) this forum won't be be clogged up with yet more tales of woe. On Saturday, it will be exactly 17yrs and 1 week since we last won a league game there. Even the Mighty Messiah Allardyce's record there was 0-3-5 (and two of those draws were in the Championship)
frank_spencer Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 According to playgroud rules Blackburn beat us by 2 and Flum beat them by 3 Flum will beat us by 5.
captainmed Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 On Saturday, it will be exactly 17yrs and 1 week since we last won a league game there. And i was there. We won 4-1 after going a goal down inside the first couple of minutes. On a seperate note then defeat on saturday will surely spell the end.
Bobcat Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 (edited) no less than 0-4 Edited November 26, 2009 by Bobcat
Traf Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 And i was there. We won 4-1 after going a goal down inside the first couple of minutes. On a seperate note then defeat on saturday will surely spell the end. What will it spell the end of?
no balls Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 What will it spell the end of? The world as we know it!
frank_spencer Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 The world as we know it! but i feel fine.
birch-chorley Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Cant remember us playing well at the cottage. line up i would like to see- Jussi Steinsson Cahill AOB Samuel M Davies Muamber Gardener K Davis Klasnic Lee Think Lee would be able to cut in from the left. Probable line up Jussi Ricketts AOB Cahill Samuel K Davis M Gardener Muamber McCann Taylor Elmander Think Megson will try and flood the midfield to stop Murphy doing what he did at the Reebok last season.
Piemon Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Just over 600 tickets sold, i for one cant wait

I think Murphy isnt back to fitness yet so he will probably be on the bench imo.
RUREADY2ROLL Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Jussi Ricketts Cahill AOB Samuel Lee M.Davies Muamba Gardner K.Davies Klasnic 4-5-1 lose 3-0 Thats the team for me but maybe Steinson instead of Ricketts
Big E Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Just over 600 tickets sold, i for one cant wait Decided how you are getting there / back yet?
george Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Lawrenson's expecting Bolton to lose and make it 5 defeats in a row.2-0. If Megson drops that Swedish carthorse and plays an attacking 5 man midfield with Lee and Gardner in it I can see us getting something. Any other formation or team we'll lose.
Traf Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) Jussi -------- Steinsson AOB Cahill Samuel -------- Lee M Davies Muamba Cohen Gardner -------- Klasnic Subs: Al Habsi, Ricketts, Knight, Basham, Taylor, K Davies, Elamander for me. Dropping KD & Taylor might give them a kick up the arse. Edited November 27, 2009 by Traf
Guest bwfcdan Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) There's no way on earth he'd drop Kev Davies... no matter how bad he's playing... Same with Cahill and Taylor... we cant afford to drop our better players, even if there form is shite at the moment ... Edited November 27, 2009 by bwfcdan
