Mounts Kipper Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Must add what a top bloke Hodgson sounds, very generous in his praise for Bolton despite a disapointing result for them, one of the old school and it is good to hear opposing managers dishing out credit to the opposition. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11681_5729082,00.html
Burndens Bogs Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 A draw away from home is never a bad result in this division, and let's hope it stop's the rot. Onwards and upwards 'an all that.

Casino Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 when will folk realise fulham have spent serious money and hodgson hasnt had to sell his best player
Dan.m Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 You can only play whats before you and we went into the dressing room on top. To come out after half time and sit back and defend is a fucking piss take. Absolute shambles, I'm sick of defending that twat now. He must go.
Casino Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 from what i hear we had a good 10 minutes maybe you expect fulham to sit back on a 0-1 defeat they have some good players and are strong at home a point is more than i hoped for

Sit down bellend, most on here have forgotten more about football than you've learnt!!
Grad Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Main problem was the inability to keep possession. It was a bit embarrassing at times how we gave the ball away so regularly. Taylor was utter toss, barring the header off the line. But, on the plus side, thought Steinsson, Cahill and AOB defended well and we battled, stuck at it and could've nicked it at the end. Oh, and Klasnic's goal was very good

Realistically we needed 3. BUT we took the lead, to sit back and wait is only going to lead to a goal. It just invites pressure!

Dan.m Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 We sat back. Straight after their goal we were up in their half. Every time we cleared there wasn't anyone past the half way line.
frank_spencer Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 We sat back. Straight after their goal we were up in their half. Every time we cleared there wasn't anyone past the half way line. didn't look to me like we sat back. looked like as SJM said Woy gave em a bollocking and they came out determined to get a result Dempsy, Hangelaand, Gera and Duff would all walk straight into our 1st 11
Grad Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 We defended really deep as we tend to but we just launched it anywhere and regrouped and prepared for the next wave of attack. With a bit more composure on the ball we'd have won
superjohnmcginlay Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 After the previous few weeks it is definatly a VERY good point gained away from home
DaveTheRave Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Good point today in my opinion. Probably would've settled for that before kick off. Bit dissapointed not to get all 3 points. First half we played decent but the second half was a different story until they scored. After their goal we seemed to go for it again and could've won it right at the end. Overall a decent today. Roll on next weekend and 3 points. Come on you WHITES!!!!

Casino Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 taylor - rightly or wrongly - gets a place for his free kicks one such free kick should have won the game in the last minute
SatanGreavsie Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Just back, and while |I'd like to give an in depth summary of the game and outr performance, I cant bacause I'm cunted
M G WHITES Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Not like MG but i said i knock the fcuk out of any cunt in the pub after the final whistle who kept going on,when for a piss and some cunt came in Megson this Megson that, last week v them cunts they were calling for Elmander and Ricketts to be dropped and they still when on.I said why dont you go to the Reebok and tell them what you think instead of balloonig in pub.
Sweep Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 The style of football fulham play with only average players is in my opinion the model we should be looking to follow, they do not lump it, they continue playing it on the floor and trying to work a chance, they are a belting team to watch and full credit to Roy Hodgson for playing that style of football without spending mega money, it just goes to show that it is possible to play good football without spending mega money, with that style of play the reebok stayaways would return. I must admit, when Fulham appointed Woy, I wondered what they were doing. I will however now state that Woy has done a great job, he's not spent bucket loads of cash, he managed to get into Europe, as well as keep his team performing in the league. He hasn't signed any "superstars" as such, and he generally makes sure his team play attractive football. Fulham are currently where BWFC were 3 or 4 years ago, and they deserve it, fair play to them. Fulahm will pretty much always continue to be cack away from home, but there home record this season is as good as anybody elses (outside the top 4) - I would be suprised if they finish outside the top 10, unless the Europa League catches up on them. A point at Fulham for Bolton Wanderers is a point gained as far as I am concerned.
Sweep Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 Dempsy, Hangelaand, Gera and Duff would all walk straight into our 1st 11 Two very good players. I will be suprised if Hangeland stays with Fulham beyond this season, he's a quality player. In fact I don't think he would be out of place at either Arsenal or Liverpool, who could both do with him. Dempsey is a "busy" player who has the knack of being in the right place at the right time. I'm not sure if Hodgson signed either of them (although he must have managed Hangeland when he was in charge of Norway) they both seem to have been there for ages, so maybe Sanchez or Coleman signed them, either way, I bet they are worth a hell of a lot of profit should Fulham cash in
John Thomas Posted November 28, 2009 Posted November 28, 2009 when will folk realise fulham have spent serious money and hodgson hasnt had to sell his best player Of which ?15m was received and ?10 m spunked on useless defenders (that excludes Cahill and Steinsson of course) Don't let facts get in the way
whiteboy Posted November 29, 2009 Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) a decent point i would of taken pre match but a pretty unsatisfactory second half and surely meggo leaving c. ?20m worth of signings on the bench shows he's failed???????? Edited November 29, 2009 by whiteboy
