Matt Lofthouse
Once upon a time in Hollywood - I get the usual Tarantino slow build up, but felt myself nodding off when as usual all hell broke loose. Ill give it another bash, but it didn’t feel like one of his best efforts.

One of my favourite directors Tarantino but people’s opinions on this one put me off a little, but people said the same with the Hateful Eight but that’s a slow burner and I love it

Bit too Saving Private Ryan esqe Tough gig to get much depth when there’s only two of them on screen. No chance of any sub plots etc. Almost seemed to be lacking a sense of danger, even at the end. As you say they did a good job of it visually, especially as they must have spunked a load of the budget on Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch and Colin Firth for a combined total of about 90 seconds. I think part of his genius is the way he splits opinion. He does seem to mix it up a bit.

TWA was ok but essentially a rehash TLJ utter utter wank. Ruined the lot TROS is an ok standalone but it’s too rushed and was an attempt to patch up TLJ Rogue One is by far the best of the recent ones
