Steele was an importer of drugs so yes got a away with a lot even if he wasn’t involved in the killings . the other guy whomes was a mate of is a mechanic and down for being the shooter definitely not a gangster type . He is actually working in Ipswich somewhere on day release now so looks like to be released shortly the evidence is pretty flimsy on both no dna or witnesses both had alibis and phone records to say they weren’t there just a grass With a criminal record who possible was the killer says he dropped them both off at the scene and picked them up after the killings . the police definitely wanted Steele out of the way so it suited them Edited December 31, 2020 by Farnywhite
Farnywhite
Tate was a 6ft 4 18 stone steroid head bully who had been shot once and survived so probably thought he was invisible. Tucker was is mate business partner and also the minder for Nigel benn on is ring walks . There is a lot to the whole story bloggs19 is the book but is the official story by the grass Darren Nichols but his original story changes that much by the time he gets to court it’s hard to believe. He is even driving a different car in is original police statement to the one he says he is by the time he gives evidence at the court for the crime scene 🤨 the whole story involves drug dealers bent coppers and even a police sting operation were the police pretend to be the IRA in phone calls to get Steele to confess to the killing by threatening to kill him for money that tucker/ tate owed them . It’s a good story Edited December 31, 2020 by Farnywhite
Traf
The Stone Roses film was shit, as was Dead Mans Shoes.
Youri McAnespie
Shane Meadows' Stone Roses film was a documentary (iirc imaginatively titled 'Made of Stone') following the band as they reformed/rehearsed for the Heaton Park gigs - it ended with footage of folk clamouring for the free tickets for the Warrington Parr Hall warmup gig, then the actual gig itself. He did a good job (Meadows). The fictionalised one was the work of Chris Coghill I think, he's the bloke who took over in the role of Anne Marie Duff's character's love interest in 'Shameless' after James McAvoy pissed off to Hollywood (a different love interest, not McAvoy's character). Think he portrayed a groomer in 'Eastenders'. He's also in it (Spike Island) as well, one of the twins who played the middle son in 'Shameless' is too. It's pretty shit, some of the 'period' touches are good though (orange buses etc.) - but anyone Mancunian or who was around Manchester at that time will cringe, dialogue is particularly naff, especially considering Coghill is a proper Mancunian. Emilia Clarke looks lovely as ever in it. As an aside I've not seen one single minute of 'Game of Thrones'. I used to think 'Dead Man's Shoes' was terrible but it's grown on me. Yeah you are you heathen. Starts with the history of them, debut album, record label issues, the underrated second album, split then the reunion gig, Ian Brown calls our Reni a cunt then the Heston Park gig which was one of the best gigs I’ve been to. She still lives in the family house but they are separated. She tells the story he won’t let her leave. He’s got another bird who he goes to her house to see her. But she is expected to stay and look after the kids until they’re all past 16 etc. she’s asked what will happen if she leaves shes been told to try and it and see rumour is she did and went to stay in a hotel. Only took a few hours for him to turn up at her door with a key and let himself in and take her home tidy as well Albeit a ginger

Burndens Bogs
Dunno if it’s the same one, but i watched a feature length Bee Gees documentary on Sky the other week. Started from the very beginning of their careers as kids, right through the height of their fame and ultimately to the deaths of 3 of the brothers - Maurice, Robin and younger brother Andy who tragically died at 30 years old. I was transfixed from start to finish, fucking brilliant it was and i wouldn’t particularly class myself as a Bee Gee’s “fan” Edited January 2, 2021 by Burndens Bogs
