Smiley Posted November 29, 2012 Author Posted November 29, 2012 Watched Black Swan last night. Fook me. The scene in the bathroom with the skin on her index finger..... I've not hidden behind a cushion since Dr Who in the 70s! Quote
DazBob Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 (edited) Life of Pi Really enjoyed it I'd give it 3.142/10 Edit: Bastard Traf Edited November 29, 2012 by DazBobParr Quote
Guest Frandsen08 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Watched the 1st 3 episodes of Dexter last night. Hooked. You're one of us now. Wait until season series 4 Baz Quote
DazBob Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Just started season series 3. I'm liking how it/he is evolving. Excellent telly - cheers Franny. Quote
Big City Girl Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Downloaded Dexter a couple of years ago and didn't like it, but when I ran out of stuff to watch last month I gave it another go. Now on Series 3. Also, Bazza thanks for The Shield, that took me a few episodes, but I love it now. Nearly finished Season 2. Boardwalk Empire next, then waiting until the final episode of Breaking Bad before I watch the last few. I'm a right couch potato now. Quote
Traf Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Just started season series 3. I'm liking how it/he is evolving. Excellent telly - cheers Franny. I can tell you how series 3 finishes, to save you some time watching it. Quote
DazBob Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 I can tell you how series 3 finishes, to save you some time watching it. Yes please, that'd be fab. Series 4,5 and 6 an' all whilst you're at it - that'll save me loads of time and effort. You're a good egg. Quote
gonzo Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Dexter?? Aren't you lot a little old for cartoons? Quote
bgoefc Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Lawless! Got to be in the oscar mix, Guy Pearce great but for me Tom Hardy steals the show. Great 1930's hillbilly moonshine gangster film with good cameo by Gary Oldman. Well shot and a good moody bloody film Quote
Maggie Tate Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Good mindless fun is Lawless. Gary Oldman should have had Guy Pearce's role though. Quote
bgoefc Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Might be mindless as far as the violence goes, but if you look there is something deeper in every character more in Jack and Forest i would admit than the rest but overall beautifully shot and delivered Quote
DIPS Posted November 30, 2012 Posted November 30, 2012 Watched Kill Last night after reading up on it on here, very dark and twisted. Slow starter but fucking hell, it develops really well untill the finale. Quote
DirtySanchez Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Our day will come Thought it might be good because it had Vincent cassell in it I couldn't have been more wrong Quote
deane koontz Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 this is some of the stuff i've watched recently once upon a time in america ; love how it's shot but i found it a bit too long and rapey. Donnie darko ; i enjoyed this, decent soundtrack too considering it's music from the shit decade leon ; mint, though i thought it was gonna wander into saville territory adaptation; good film kymatica documentary; though it's not a film, i found it interesting, but you'll probably not like it if you've got a full deck of cards. delicatessen is on the to watch list next. Quote
Zico Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Donnir Darko is ace Indeed Saw it at cinema with about 4 other people in there Apparently it barely broke even at the box office, less than £4m but became a cult hit later on Refuse to watch the sequel though Quote
Zico Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Wild bill Life on a rough London estate Seen it all before, usual cockney cast and familiar faces, but well worth a viewing of a Sunday evening Quote

barryk32 Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 Barry, no offence but I think you might have something wrong with your brain. Woah, woah, woah, it was recommended on here. (although that doesn't alter your point) Quote
jazza Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 (edited) Killer Joe top film in it's own way... strange but compelling not sure if i's been mentioned edit to say... not many films start with a full screen of a hairy bush Edited December 4, 2012 by jazza Quote
