Breightmet Boy
To be fair CYL cleared off the line in the 1st half and yes he did make a mistake, BUT it's been over exaggerated how bad it was. Having read the comments on here then watching it, it was a great goal. CYL was too comfy on the ball on the touchline, and I thought unlucky. leigh white
I would have took a point at Goodislum pre match, but the lad did clear the ball off the line in the first half. Just feel gutted being so close to three points. It drives you fucking crackers football.

bolton va va
Back from Everton & still pig sick. I thought the last 5/10 minutes ,we were a bit amateurish & didn't run the clock down properly. We had chances to keep the ball in the corner off a couple of free kicks, make a substitution, or just keep hold of the ball, so not just Lee's fault. Best moments were Holden's tackle & pass,& Taylor's superb cross for the goal(we were right behind the cross !)All the outfield players were ok, but I thought Jussi had a shaky game with some terrible distribution, but had no chance with the goal. Ani
surely one of the full backs has to be to blame? (i did not see the game but on here it usually is one of them, although given Taylor was playing maybe his fault?)
jules_darby
Rubbish, the lad is quality. Mounts I love the fact that you see everything so positively but he isn't consistently quality (yet) He gives us something different in flashes, but often he's over-run, he loses possession too easily and he's still a bit weak How many games does he disappear in? He could go on to be superb, but for me he's not quite there yet
tylswhite
All this dogshit about i would of taken a point before the match? Would you of taken a point with 10 seconds left? I hope they made the little cunt walk home.

jules_darby
he also cleared one off the line. 1 word Irrelevant He was stood on the post when the ball came in his direction If any player stood in that position hadn't cleared it, it would have been shocking In no way can you use that as 1) an example of fine play by CYL 2) an excuse for his later fuck up It's simply good organisation by OC

Pablo
You were unlucky, you should be closing that game out and winning from that position. BUT, we did enought to get a point. BUT......we were the home team, and we should be the one's going all out to win. We have plenty of the ball, some nice football, Pienaar and Fellaini and Neville getting plenty of the ball, but not enough penetration into your box. We try to walk the ball in. G.Cahill was great against T.Cahill. Saha was a joke, god knows why he played ! Billy was a joke.....Moyes Worst signing.......?9 Million Rafa eat your heart out. Coleman should have started, when he come on, he looked good. BUT, you had some great chances, the best of the game. Some nice through balls to Elmander and KD in the opening moments, great Howard save, and one of the crossbar. I wouldnt have been too upset if you would have won. Not many teams come to Goodison and create that many chances. Same story with us, you can have as much of the ball as you waant, and can play nice side-ways balls all day, but its chances that score goals. jules_darby
not sure where i said it was an example of fine play or an excuse for a later fuck up. So it was a pointless post then? My point exactly
Pablo
would have taken a point before hand and if you look at the shots on target and possession we did well to get a point. Sure it's frustrating to lose two point to such a late goal and only natural to look for a scape goat, in lee. I would rather score 1 break-away goal, than having Loads of possesion and side-ways passes. Your we well worthy of a point at-least.

worthy10
i think we need to calm down, get over Lee's mistake and take a reality check: All teams concede late goal that cost them points. But if you look at the league table with nearly a third of the season gone, we are sixth with seriously winnable games on the horizon! There are plenty teams that would love to be where we are

wayne cramp
now , i read something yesterday about Muamba saying he wont change his game , i,m sure he has though , every time he gets the ball , he turns and goes backwards. he,s like the modern day ju darby ! wolves away will be his sort of game but id like to see mark davies start against newcastle and blackpool at home . Holden more than makes up the work in centre midfield .

marple whites
I am as gutted as the next man, but put into perspective:- Extra points won via late minute goals this season Birmingham (h) 1 Stoke (h) 2 Lost Liverpool (h) 1 Everton (a) 2 So we are level. I am sure there will be more to come !!

I am sure there will be more to come !! Put like that, you have brightened up my day! I looked at the next four matches Everton (a), Wolves (a) Newcastle (h) Blackpool (H) as a 7 point job. With a loss against Everton, draw against Wolves and 2 wins at home. I keep telling myself we are a point ahead of schedule.
Didledee
I'm still gutted, I really cannot believe what Lee did still. I don't know the lad, but I reckon he's gonna be really depressed for the next 2 days. Hopefully this will teach him a lesson. He's not the kind of player to just hit and hope a ball, but use some football knowledge and get rid, it won't be classed as a long ball, it'll be just classed as doing the correct thing.
