Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 Clearly much worse up there, though areas around Sheffield had schools closed today too. That said, they should have got the roads sorted, unless there is much more to come. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 Well, Bert brought his presence to bear today. Loads of flooding all over. Quite impressive at Belmont this morning, and Jackburn couldn't get a game on. Quote
Zico Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 CNR at at the hump back bridge next to station park was getting a bit deep after the match Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Absolute deluge early doors. Like a summer thunderstorm. Off out shortly with the hounds to have a look at the river. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 Had it bad in Wales. Some parts may have more snow this week. Quote
Spider Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 One of our lads lives near Ludlow and his village is under 4 ft of water. The Severn is close by and apparently yet to reach its full surge, so likely to get worse before gets better. Quote

No worries. Glorious clear blue skies through the Lakes and the Borders both ways. Hit the weather on the way back when I got down to Lancaster The bloke I was supposed to be working with was stuck under a few feet of snow west of Inveraray. Took him a few days to get out Quote

I couldn't get my head around why my bowl of soup was so tasteless. Then I got the text and it all clocked. Pricey place but always enjoy stopping there. Quote

Could have been someone else. They're from the right area, so who knows, they may supply Tebay. Whichever farm it was, it was good. Quote
