gonzo Posted January 3, 2018 Author Posted January 3, 2018 Seems to be the trend at the minute that these storms coming in from the north east are clearing the path for cold fronts coming in from the north. Could see 0 and below temps Sunday Quote

MancWanderer Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 I found your post a bit odd, especially on a weather thread, i’m assuming you’ve had a festive drink I’m not sure that many folk on a nice winter holiday will come back that skint that they can’t pay the rent Yep I had had a festive drink however was truly pissed off about certain people that I know who owe money left, right and centre, and have been helped out of the financial shit a number of times, that then miraculously appear in The Caribbean after crying that they’ve no money for food, rent or Xmas presents for the kids Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Shite next week A work colleague of my missus was up in the lakes last weekend. Apparently he saw three separate skeins of geese, all containing roughly 100 birds. They were all travelling NORTH. Weird; very early. Perhaps cold weather elsewhere is having an effect; or we're going to have a marvellous summer. Quote

Skein is a great word I'm in Yarmouth at the minute, I let Gonzo know yesterday that there were loads of gooses flying north yesterday. Each flock must have been a good 50 birds or so, and I saw 3 or 4 of them. Edited January 12, 2018 by Sweep Quote
