I've really enjoyed this summer!

I love autumn too NB but I am not digging these dark nights already

that's the shitty trade off I also dislike greatly. Just to fill you with joy, it's not far off that time when it's lights on driving home :)

El Niño is going to be the strongest it's ever been over the next couple of months apparently.

See all this caper really does bust my chops in. It apparently halts global warming for a couple of years. This surely does cast some doubt over the old man made climate change malarkey.

It's going to cause colder summers for the next couple of years in the northern hemisphere and the south may aswell join the Syrians and head this way. Gonna be a bit choppy round the pacific.

In other news I saw geese fucking off on Saturday. I was very nearly close to tears. Keep an eye out for any erratic looking squirrels or ants heading in a straight line rather than a meander. I reckon we are going to have a big white out this winter. We are long over due.

Houstonians got excited at the weekend, a cold front passed through dropped the temp down to 82 for 3 days, back up to 94 again now and fall starts next Wednesday

That's all well and good but when does autumn start?

We got talking to a couple from Houston at the hotel we stayed at in Playa del Carmen a few years back, twas in July. They had flown there for the weekend to escape the oppressive Texan heat! Mind it was still about 90 but they had left 100+ .

Lovely day yesterday in Rossendale. We managed an impromptu bbq.

Cool out today

Slight pearl harbour on the front first thing. Now it's lovely.

Been the best month of the year this so far. Nice and settled.

Yep July is hot but August is hotter, it’s just not the heat, with being so close to the coast it’s the humidity, on a 96/97 day the feel like temps can be 105 to 115, the sweat just pisses out of you just stood still outside not moving, it ok in the pool with a cold beer
