What I am saying is its a measure of how far we've fallen but I bet the men at the top are still pulling Premier League salaries for Pub League marketing performances.

I think a family, community club, if that's what they want to be, like ours should think about what image this kind of sponsor brings. If there is only one option to pick from for sponsorship its an easy decision to make.

Looking at that Championship list, QuickQuid are in the Champions League spot in terms of profile (admittedly not exactly for the right reasons) in comparison with some of the others.

 

As posted earlier in the thread, you can dig up shit about virtually every company in the world, and I certainly don't remember such a commotion about us being sponsored by a betting firm. Yes, it does make us look a bit tinpot but as mentioned it's not that bad in comparison with the rest of the league, and if it gets us the best deal possible in the market then go for it.

 

I'm not exactly expecting a riot outside the Reebok when it's confirmed, but there are 24 hour column inches to be filled, so we'll look REALLY tinpot when the press picks up on the 'protests', even though it's seemingly only a tiny proportion who are particularly arsed about it.
