Guest Blixa Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 If West Ham's squad isn't strong enough to cope with the league and cups, someone has bought VERY badly. They've spent good money on some pretty average players. And that's before you go into the Andy Carroll deal. Quote
COYW Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Fuck off, Parkinson made the final. Credit where credit is due. ...and when he takes Bradford to the Premier League, he can claim to have achieved what Allardyce has done twice. Quote
HR Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Shirley they can keep putting it down to Andy Carroll? It will be a surprise as hes never played a full season in his career. BSA was always a square leg in a round hole there. Quote

bwfc2003 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 All the clubs in the Premier managed by the Dudley Fuckwitt have been relegated within 2 years of his leaving, West Ham are next. Keep that idiot away from the Reebok at all costs. Maybe all of them shouldnt have sacked him then, as he left with them in the Prem Quote

It's not "cherry picking" to quote two seasons with over 40 appearances to contradict a false assertion that "he has never played a full season in his career". [but it would have helped if I had quoted the seasons correctly.] Quote
birch-chorley Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Me too. Me three And for the record I'm sure we were not relegated within 2 seasons of Sam leaving??? A season with sammy lee & Megson A season with Megson A season with Megson and Coyle A season with Coyle Quote
Sweep Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Greatest manager in our history. Should never have been allowed to part company. Made for each other. Like it or not, and I know some don't, he is clearly the best Manager that this club has had in the modern era. CLearly he left becuase he wanted to go on to bigger and better things, as it happens he's not managed to do that....by virute of the fact that he's never finished higher in the league than he did with Bolton, and he hasn't reached any other cup finals or qualified for Europe. So whilst it was as good as were going to get with him in charge......we were as good as it was ever going to get for him. Both parties have seen their "stock" diminish since they were together. Havign said that, I don't think that bringing him back would propel us to the glory days that we once had. Quote
frank_spencer Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 He walked away didn't he? What, in your opinion, should Gartside have done to prevent it? Whilst our time under Allardyce was our most successful for generations he'd been after a bigger job for a while. Our finances at the time meant he couldnt be given the money wanted (he still signed Gerald Fooking Cid) Plus he was shagging Mrs Gartside (allegedly) Once Sam had made his choice there was little Fat Phil could do bar moving on quickly. L/H White Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I'd piggy back him from London to Bolton in a heartbeat Quote
