I have seen a suggestion that neither Zenit nor Porto fancied their chances in the Champions' League and were each trying to drop into the Europa in the belief that they would be in with a chance of lifting the trophy. If that is so it's not match fixing, but it's definitely not playing the game, as it were. Quote
