This season, not even booked! Rightly so - the double jeopardy rule has long been something they needed to change. Punishing a team twice for something like that never sat right. Quote

Now it's only a red if the foul is a cynical one. Quite right too. Quote

leigh white Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Done some twiddling about on the remote these last two days with all the games being on firestick with different KO times, Leeds V Hull is the best up to now. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Talking of spurs, anyone see that new sky walk thing they've built on top of their stand? Fuck me, no thanks. Quote
Kane57 Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Pfft I've sat on the back row at Newcastle before. I can handle heights. Quote

MickyD Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 As part of a familiarisation visit we had a visit to the Reebok. Had a walk across the roof of North Stand from East stand to West. Also got to climb across to the press gantry. That’s much higher looking down from it than it is standing at ground level looking up. Quote

I’m a bit weird I’ve done a skydive and a bungee jump and not a bother, when I looked up at the Burj Khalifa from the ground I nearly fell over Quote

When we were crossing the bridge between the two buildings, I literally had to crawl on my hands and knees at one point, and I nearly passed out when I saw the window cleaners outside. Pathetic. Tonge moor green jacket Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Freddie Flintoff has an issue with heights and he's well 'and, so its fine for me to be uneasy with them too. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 First time I sat in North Upper (cup game in 1st or 2nd season of Reebok), I ended up with a ticket on the first row and I had to sit right back in my seat, never sat in that stand since, was convinced I'd fall over the edge if I celebrated a goal (East & West upper are fine as not as steep). I've done Newcastle - too high but not scary - but worst ever was the famous FA Cup win at Everton when they put half of the Bolton fans in the top (3rd) tier down the side. I literally couldnt stand up all night and when Coyle bagged the winner in E/T I had a wierd cocktail of emotions, going crazy in my seat whilst being scared of falling over the edge with hundreds of celebrating limbs everywhere. Cant believe that stand is still there, felt like a death trap to me. Quote
Rudy Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 Chelsea away in the corner always made us feel weird. Probably the 10 cans on my way down there though Quote
