It's all over twitter (I know I know) and had numerous texts...non itk though haha

All over Avftt...apparently Tom has handed in a transfer request.

Sounded pretty bad at Barnsley I must admit.

Alex Rae had to be restrained by police for confronting pool fans first then at the end Paul Ince had to be protected by stewards as a mob of fans tried to get at him.

Even Tom got involve trying to stick up for his dad got spat at.

I thought we had it bad.

Personally I don't get the hatred towards Ince,it's those above that are the ones to blame.

How can you attract decent players when you train on a school field??

I'd imagine if he's played a key role in negotiating his son's move to Monaco then that won't have gone down well with Oyston.

A move abroad for Ince Jnr is the worst possible outcome for Blackpool in terms of any fee received.

Blackpool train on a school field?!?

Sure do mate.

Have a gander further up the thread.

They can't train on blank weekends as they have under 9 matches on it haha

it only putes em 20 years behind us

didn't we train at some school in farnworth under neal?

Middle of the running track at Harper Green.

So not quite the school, but near enough to watch from the CDT building.

Just spoke to a Blackpool in the cafe.

He says the crisis talks are all about Tom Ince, with Paul Ince being his agent.

Surely there's a conflict of interest there??

He's out of contract at the end of the season and Oyston wants to broker a deal with Ince so he can be sold to Monaco now.

Not an easy task with a man you are about to sack.

I really don't see how a manager of a club can be the agent of one of his players  -  as Tom's agent, presumably he'll be getting a cut of whatever deal his son gets, so would he not just advise his son to rn down his contract and get a massive signing on fee as a "Bosman" in a few months?  -  if so, then how can that be in Blackpools interest?!?!

It's crackers

Bit like when we had the agent of a certain Manager advising our board on who to recruit for a new Manager you mean?

They trained at Bolton School in the mid 80's too.

Running up and down the levels.

Don't Blackpool have some sort of form in the area of managerial conflicts of interest?

Ian Holloway used to get a cut of player transfer fees: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/blackpool/8285501/Blackpools-Ian-Holloway-receives-cut-of-player-transfers-but-denies-exploiting-Charlie-Adam-sale.html

Whilst perfectly legal, it does seem to put the manager in a dubious position - weighing up which is worth more to him, the on-field success that a player can bring or the transfer fee percentage.

More common than you'd think.

Just seen Steve Thompson outside Claremont social club,he's been on a funeral all day.

He said him Alex Rae and Ince were summonsed to Oyston's house last night.

He left them Ince and Oyston there in heated debate at gone 12.

He's heard nothing yet, but hes certain Tom going to Monaco is in doubt at the minute.

He also said all the Bolton players want sacking.
