Didledee Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Tim Ream was MOM for me today. 2nd half he was very poor, his mistakes almost cost us, good job for Lonergan Quote
superkev Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 They missed a great chance at the start of the second half but for the last 35 mins we controlled the game well. Danns MoM for me, but a great save from Lonergan. Good movement and passing for the goal aswell. Quote
L/H White Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Great result whites Hope we can keep this run going through December Jan will extremely tough without Davies and Chungy Quote
kent_white Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 2nd half he was very poor, his mistakes almost cost us, good job for Lonergan Was he? Admittedly he was defending down the other end from me second half but I thought he looked really composed today? Not our most fluid performance of Lennon's tenure, but I can't believe how hard in the tackle we look for a team that I thought were a bunch of powder puffs a few months back. Happy days, onwards and upwards and all that. Oh and a decent little cameo from Rob Hall! Quote
coxy Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 2nd half he was very poor, his mistakes almost cost us, good job for Lonergan Ah, I missed who was responsible for that at the game, great save though. Quote

I was surprised to see Rob Hall take the free-kick after Max Clayton scored this beauty. http://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/article/great-free-kick-max-clayton-scores-for-u21s-30.10.14-2051302.aspx Wrong side I guess. COYW Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Decision on Gudjohnsen this week according to Lennon. Wants to use him as an 'impact player'. Quote
Arrested development Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Good to see us grind a result out when not at the top of our game. Dervite and Danns were joint MOTM for me. Lonergan also deserves praise for a big save at the start of the 2nd half. Quote
coxy Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Ratings Lonergan - 8 Great save when needed Vela - 7 Not a natural full-back but doesn't let the team down. Mills - 6 Needs to keep his passing short, wasteful distribution at times. Dervite - 7 - Very promising player, growing and brings the ball out well. Ream - 8 - A good performance. Danns - 6 - Up and Down Pratley - 7 - Consistent energetic performance, needs to get his head up at points. Feeney - 5 - Wasteful crosses and didn't look in the mood to get forward with energy. Chungy - 7 - Another consistent performance, Its great to see him back but this guy will have lucrative offers from Santa. Clayton - 6 - I like this young lad. 18 months and he will be snapped up. Davies - 7 - Dangerous, needs more support. Unlucky with crossbar shot. Could get double figures. Quote
oggybwfc Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Was watching Lennon when we had dodgy decisions go against us, I can't think of a more animated or passionate BWFC manager in all my 40 odd yrs following the whites. I Love Neil Lennon and I don't care who knows. Quote
Baba O'Riley Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Not sure when (if) I can get back to matches, so get it sorted tomorrow, you lot. 3 points, get moving up to mid_table. Those 3 points were for you today B., chin up and get back in the saddle soon. Take it easy. Quote
Cinnykid Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Tim Ream was MOM for me today. Devite looks like he could be a really good player for us. Totally agree ream didn't put a foot wrong all match, liked the look of hall too.Feeney was shocking again Quote
oggybwfc Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 My only gripe The advertising hoardings Again. Quote

Didledee Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Totally agree ream didn't put a foot wrong all match, It was his error that almost cost us going behind in the 2nd half and then later he did a short pass back which Lonergan wasn't happy about. Quote

Also Feeney 5 is harsh considering you've not mentioned the fact that Feeney got the assist for the goal with a good pullback. Others ratings are about right. Quote
overseas Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I need to say that the best thing, for me, and this includes any division in UK football. the best thing, my favourite thing I have seen out of any of it is that wigan are second from the bottom of the championship and obviously struggling.. now thats superb, and I hope they are relegated, I really do, the fkc*** shithouses. thank you, carry on. RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Thought Danns was mom today, was in & around everything & was the one keeping us on the front foot. Like a few others now Lenny is here, May not be at the top of his game but is brave enough to keep showing for the ball & is always in the opposition's face. Quote
Take Hunt Off Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 the ball from Chungy to Feeney was a little gem in the build up to the goal .Chungy mom for me again Danns did well apart from a couple of bad decisions in promising attacks. Lonergan excellent too, Feeney disappointing everyone else dug in & gave it 100% miles better without Spearing & his pointy arms !! Quote
Zico Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Thought Huddersfield came well organised, tight and tough to break down and made some good chances for themselves Cyl has got his spark back but without him and m davies in jan we'll find it tough but that might be where eidur could fit in Always thought c davies had it in him to score when a few chances came his way, just need to create some more Quote

leigh white Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 My only gripe The advertising hoardings Again. Did my kite in today, you cant see fuck all when they turn white at the far end from the North Lower. Quote
ianofcleveleys Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Surprised how few people have mentioned C Davies contribution today, outstanding effort again, especially 2nd half making the ball stick and working two tough defenders over. That plus a goal will do for me. As BBC sport website report says, 'a constant menace to the opposition defence'. Plenty of players have shown up Freedman's clueless handling of them over the past month but he's been the most striking example for me Quote
