RUREADY2ROLL
Probably a good point with no proven strikers and the couple of injuries
xxxxxx
Good point, considering they had 14 men.
SnoopJohnnyJohn
2 off injured and now Chungy is receiving treatment - dirty gets Neither of which were Ipswich players' faults and Chungy got hit in the balls. But still, dirty bastards.

SnoopJohnnyJohn
How they are towards the top of the table I will never know. I've not seen more boring tactics than that in a long time. And if Mings goes for 8 million in January as rumoured I'd be shocked.
Didledee
Maybe just like that 2nd half they get a lot of chances in other games too?
COYW
At least we stopped them going top.
hughmungus
Good point for us against a team who are way over rated, Mings is shite and I cant see what the big clubs see in him. Wilkinson is out of his depth yet and needs work, thought Eidur had a few good touches and linked with Chungy a couple of times. But we are never going to trouble the opposition goal with this team. COYW
we are never going to trouble the opposition goal with this team. We're the fifth lowest scorers in the Championship. Four of those other teams are the bottom four teams in the league.
DomRepWanderer
Davies should be back for Millwall, big miss today. Wilkinson could turn out to be a cracking player, just nowhere near ready just yet. Edited December 13, 2014 by DomRepWanderer

Confirms my point, half time stats 2 shots none on target, they had 7 so we need to get Davies back or Wilkinson up to level or hope Lenny can find someone in January. Playing Chungy up front doesnt work and he seemed a bit lost at times, he is much better in his free mid role.

stevieb
The reception Eidur got when he came on gave me goosebumps. Still got it with some class touches. Decent point given the relative league positions of the two teams.
Traf
Very good point in my opinion. Lonergan our best player by a mile. It's boring, but,,,, ...under the two previous fuckwits of managers, we'd have lost 3-0.
CSBWFC
Disappointed with wilkinsons performance , wee did not look a threat when Clapton went off and his injury looked bad. Ref was poor for both sides , happy with a point.

Moderators Casino Posted December 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted December 13, 2014 few thoughts think we'd have been stronger with ream at right back and moxey on the left we had the two best chances of the first half lonergans save for the one on one was brilliant think im better than wilkinson - i see nowt in him the moans and groans aimed at wilkinson late on where utterly embarrassing decent point, poor performance
Moderators Carlos Posted December 13, 2014 Moderators Share Posted December 13, 2014 Clayton looks like a cruciate to me, the way he played on then collapsed. Hope not like. Eidjohnsen still has class but we kept hitting long balls at him. Their keeper didn't get his gloves wet. Not a fan of McCarthy's football. SnoopJohnnyJohn
the moans and groans aimed at wilkinson late on where utterly embarrassing I think without the injuries today, Wilkinson might have been taken off towards the end. He looked knackered.

ianofcleveleys
With what NL had at his disposal and how the game panned out injury-wise, a good point. OK we didn't look like scoring or winning, but we didn't lose and that'll do for me. If C Davies is out for any length of time, could be more of the same for a few weeks till either he's back or NL can sort something in Jan. Hope Clayton's isn't a bad one too, would be a shame for the lad if so. They were the epitome of why the Championship is as tight as it is from top to bottom. If McGoldrick gets injured for any length of time they'll fade away
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted December 13, 2014 Site Supporter Share Posted December 13, 2014 Good point all things considered. We are badly lacking up top and even more so when Clayton went off. Wilkinson is at least 12 months away from being a striker, hopefully we can farm him out on loan. People may knock Heskey but he would have done no worse than C.W today. Eidur still has class but needs more games. All things told, I'm still happy enough and I trust NL to get more balance to the squad
Rembrandt
Thought we didn't look like winning (as others have said), so a good poing. Anyway, I enjoyed a Platinum Suite match with family/friends, plus a brief meeting with NL pre-match. Top man. Top afternoon.
