birch-chorley Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 fuck me, we have got away with one there, how the fuck was that offside haha about time we had a stinker of a decision go for us. It got one of our players out of jail With a few minutes left and the extra man we just needed to play sensible, one of ours (can't remember who) tries a zidane esk through ball that went straight to their keeper who launched that counter attack. Who ever it was got away big style with that Quote
Ani Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 First goal great tackle from Vela. Did not realise at the time how well Pratley did for the second. Lennons comments on Vela being tired at the end adds to my confusion as to the lack of subs. Where the ref got 6 minutes from for injury is a mystery. Quote
Piemon Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Vela reminded me of a young Steven Gerrard yesterday driving forward with the ball and general all round combative display. Only an observation not making any wild statements but it was very heartening to see, Quote

jules_darby Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 He also gave the ball away in dangerous positions a number of times. He did indeed a couple of times but I believe that he will learn not to do that. Danns is also guilty of it I think Vela is a superb midfielder in the making Quote

Danns is also guilty of it I think Vela is a superb midfielder in the making Aye he has to learn to play at the level. He created the first with a hard tackle and a great chance for Cravies with a clever pass. Quote
anewman Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Nice to see trotter not play and get back to winning ways Quote

chief wiggum Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Kinell! Before he came, I didn't want him here. If I had the opportunity to meet the bloke now, I would shake his hand, embrace him and thank him for turning our club (& season) around. Great post that Quote
SoberDan Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 I just think he is very outspoken and he has an awful reputation for winding folk up. I none the less can see what an excellent job he has done so far. Quote

I none the less can see what an excellent job he has done so far. No more outspoken than any of the top managers, got to have a bit of that or you get walked all over inmy opinion. Since he's come here we've had far more publicity and press coverage than we've had for years. Nowt with Freedman and we turned into a laughing stock under Coyle with his bloody stupid sound bites such as " toe to toe" , "Barclays Premier League" etc etc. It was fecking embarrassing ! Quote

RONNIE PHILLIPS Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Lenny is a mons mon, someone who the fans & players alike can identify with. Pulls no punches & tells it like it is. Just wish we had a bit of cash to help him along because I'm convinced he's taking us places again & I'm normally quite guarded on these things. Quote
mourinho Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Got to say, I'm liking that away kit, reminds me of retro Serie A. Probably the Macron link Quote

Boby Brno Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 That's because it's camouflage colour.Seriously, I think that's how we got away with the offside 'goal' Quote
marple whites Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 3 wins in 3 visits, great day out. Should have been out of sight though by half time and hanging on for dear life at the end. Thought pratley was magnificent and I never thought I would have said that. Quote

famouswanderer Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 think we have won our last 4 there now Quote
bolty58 Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Great post considering your allegiances, top man. I fell in love with Bolton Wanderers at the age of 8 when my dad took me on the embankment for the first time. I stress the word 'love'. I may have other football and football code allegiances but nothing; absolutely nothing comes close to the love for our club. Neil Lennon is doing a magnificent job for that love of mine and for that I will be grateful to him for a very long time. Amazing, infectious passion he has for the game and I reckon he could get Johnny Adair on side if he wanted to. Onwards and upwards. Quote
pato Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Lennon has been a breath of fresh air , seeing fellow Wanderers with a spring in their step rather than the zombie shuffle we have had the last two years is refreshing hearing it from the other side of the world is outstanding Quote
Cheese Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 Great post considering your allegiances, top man. Or maybe that post just proves these so-called "allegiances" are fucking pathetic? "No surrender! No surrender! No surrender, unless one of them does well for us!" Quote
