passmosster Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Think that the Westphalia Herne game was in 1975. Ian Greaves was the manager. Quote

jonnycooper Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I know I'm off topic!,,but,,,seeing Ian Greaves being mentioned brings back memories,of walking down Bradford road to Burnden Park as a youngster and calling at Roy Greaves Mums house on the way...She always gave me a glass of orange pop and told me to shout my head off for her Roy!! Happy Days.. Quote

passmosster Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 I was at Herne. Guess what? Ruth Crawshaw was sat immediately in front of me. Mike Walsh looked the business on the day. And we had a great evening trying to tell DUP and DAB beer apart. They didn't taste any different by about 9 pm. Quote
tylswhite Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Flatdick at left back is a nightmare. I hope it never happens again! Quote
stevieb Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 1 down at half time! It's just not good enough, they should be up rivi with bricks on their backs playing Barcelona and the like, not swanning around Austria playing a no mark team. Quote
