mickbrown Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 one things for sure, all the excuses trotted out wouldn't be trotted out if we were top of the league bwfc - ficklerus Too right - which is why I included us being shit as a possible factor. Quote
Casino Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Too right - which is why I included us being shit as a possible factor. so, we all want some mug to come along and buy us but we're not willing to show the world the town hasn't given up cos we're a bit shit and its wet Quote
Casino Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 anyway, you cant see my seat on the telly so i might not bother you east stand mugs and north stand peasants need to get your arses in gear Quote
gonzo Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 No superfan award cos I know there's plenty of us but living abroad, I asked my Mum whether Dad who's 71 was looking forward to the match tonight. She said he really isn't and he would much rather watch the game on Sky in the warmth and comfort of home but dedication is forcing him to go and sit in the rain and cold. As he has done for 60 odd years. Thousands like him and wherever we may be in the league, it's in our blood and I just wish the players realised this and showed the passion this great club and its fans deserve. My little boy aged 7 wants to wake up at 4am to watch it too. Calls it the Big Match. Come on Bolton, let's win this one! Aye my 71 year old dad is representing the fylde whites tonight. I try and talk him out of it as I can see how knackered he is the following morning. But will he give up? Will he balls. Quote
mickbrown Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 so, we all want some mug to come along and buy us but we're not willing to show the world the town hasn't given up cos we're a bit shit and its wet Whichever mug buy the club already has my money up front. I'll be there no doubt, because I'm the fucking mug who shells out for a years worth of football without knowing what shite will be served up. Quote
isaacunt Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Would it bother anyone if it was postponed tonight? Can't see it happening somehow when we played in the swimming pool against Zenit in'th Waffa cup, a bit back Toodle pip Quote
EyesRight Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 less than 10k tonight That was about our actual home average last year. Can see a load of ST no shows tonight...I really can't be arsed myself but a "cheeky nandos with the lads" has swayed me. Quote
Casino Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 i think it can cope with rain all day it only struggles when it comes down quickly Quote
tomski Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I may be bucking the trend on here but am looking forward to this. Huge game we have to win imo. Coywm! Quote
isaacunt Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Just had a cheeky couple o quid on 4-0 toodle pip Quote
Eddie Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 I may be bucking the trend on here but am looking forward to this. Huge game we have to win imo. Coywm! I was thinking the same. Too many games over the past few seasons haven't meant anything. Granted survival isn't the reason I want it to 'mean something' but at least there's a reason to get up for the match. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 They've just appointed the Walsall manager as their new gaffer. Carsley didn't do too bad with them. Quote
Horwich Posted November 30, 2015 Author Posted November 30, 2015 I know we are zillions in debt but club should have offered free car parking tonight. Would of been a good gesture Quote
Rembrandt Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Made of good stuff these older Wanderers. Well done Gonzos dad, some folk can't get off their lazy arses to travel 10 minutes. Plus the rain & wind & cold, Mounts. I'm hoping to be there, but I probably shouldn't go out. Anyway my driver and minder are already sorted, so ...... Quote
famouswanderer Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Ive been called insane by a few mates and the Mrs, 200 mile round trip when its on the box (super fan). But like Casino said, id definitely be there if we were top of the league so tonight should be no different. Quote

Cinnykid Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Not seen much of Brentford this season but was was impressed last season with their attacking style of play. Unless they've really gone backwards this is gonna be a v hard game. Hoping for a bit of luck tonight and scrape a 1 niller Quote
