Guest GudniB
agree with this, I think their plan will be to stabilise the club and then try to get us to a position of mid table in the championship and then look to sell on for a good profit maybe looking to keep a small stake in the club There are three Sports Shield companies. All of them were formed in 2015 (probably at negligible cost) and all three have Dean Holdsworth as the sole director. The first (Sports Shield Ltd) was formed on 6 January 2015, quite possibly with the intention of selling sports shields. Its Annual Return is overdue. The second (Sports Shield Investments Ltd) was formed on 31 July 2015. Sports Shield BWFC Ltd was formed on 9 December 2015. The 'backers' of the 'Sports Shield consortium' are largely unknown but it would be unsurprising if some had got cold feet when weighing potential gains against potential losses (as venture capitalists and private equity investors always do). There was never going to be a simple solution.
GeorgeOghani'sIroningBoard
Another week of this pantomime slips by as the team slides inexorably towards the 3rd division. Holdsworth's interest has all the hallmarks of a dog returning to his own vomit. Why are people surprised that the tax bill has not been paid ? Sweep
So Trevor Birch's firm is lined up to get fat fees as the administrator.. provided his firm is chosen Although as he's an administration specialist, I'm not sure it's a massive surprise, that will be one of the reasons why he was brought in I would have thought
Guest
No, we haven't got any cash at present, that's the issue Where's all the money from the sale of assets. Must be some left, surely?
passmosster
Sweep, so we didn't need to go through the charade of trying to find a buyer if the man that we brought in to sell the company was chosen because of his admin experience. Voluntary admin don't you choose the administrator BTW.
Sweep
Where's all the money from the sale of assets. Must be some left, surely? I'm not sure we got as much money as some people think we did, and we had some outstanding loans to pay off didn't we? - also, as we have paid the staff recently, some of it must have gone there

Doesn't that come at the end of the season, at around £10m?

Voluntary admin don't you choose the administrator BTW. We can't do voluntary admin anymore contrary to what the BN tells us. We can ask the judge for admin but it's up to the judge now. Part I am not sure in is who would choose the administrator in this scenario
Sweep
Did we mortgage allof this season's parachute money? Doesn't that come at the end of the season, at around £10m? That was mortgaged off previously, which is why we really needed to be promoted this season
