darrener
Reading the bn this morning we will have no team next season, 15 players out of contract. Need to get the young players signed up asap. Definitely going down unfortunately need to plan for league one.
gonzo
Pretty sure we can't offer new deals in the current situation?
Mounts Kipper
Looks like we're going down same route as Blackpool from what I can see. I can see us with a squad of 7-8 players a week before season starts. Hope I'm wrong, hoping high earners get released and we bring in players on the right money who are young and hungry and have decent level of talent. DaveTheRave
Feeney, Holding, Woolery and maybe Walker are the ones I'd like us to keep from those out of contract. Â The rest I really don't give a fuck about.
darrener
Taylor and finney would be good in league one also white seems to have done well at Blackpool

stevieb
Depends if we can beat HMRC next week. If we do it could kick start the season. I can see us still in the Chumpionship, in another relegation battle, but without this seasons bad luck. Aye, massive fixture. Relegation 12 pointer. DaveTheRave
Clough as well surely. I was on about the ones out of contract in the summer. Â Clough has a few years left on his.
kent_white
Looking at that article in the BEN - unless we can ship Wheater and Davies we'll struggle to make much of an impact in League 1 as we'll still be hamstrung financially. They're not out of contract until the end of next season.

Sweep
Another 12 months of Spearing & Davies  -  That can't be far off £2.5M per year in wages, which will pretty much be our ticket income for the entire season

I imagine no club will want them for what we are paying them. And they wont want a pay cut.
Farrelli
Assuming League 1: I'd like to see us keep Amos, Holding, Derik, Vela, Trotter, Feeney, Madine, Clough, Walker, Woolery and Wilson. Wages mean that Spearing, Davies, Wheater, Pratley, Dervite and Moxey have to go. Dobbie, Hall, White, Heskey likely to be released.

Blondi
When we do get relegated, the players who aren't out of contract and they're on big money like Spearing, Mavies etc, I'd imagine  we might have to try and loan them out and just hope the other clubs pay the full whack of their wages.

Even if it'd mean we let them go for free..
