Trying to work out how much we've actually spent so far. There was talk of a bigger transfer budget.

Baccus fell through so we got Gomes - at a lower price?

I'm thinking about what we've spent in transfers and wondering if there's still money left for a "marquee signing" rather than spending it on wages for other teams' players?

 

Good interview - seems very humble and down to earth.  Great signing 🤞🤞.  Love it when he says “the fans are top class and always behind the team”…..just wait until he doesn’t get a hat trick in his first game or misplaces a pass. Booooo.

Always liked the look of him from the outside especially during our L2 season, seems to be a bit of concern over if he'll fit in the system but very happy we have a player dapo-esque capable of going past defenders & providing much needed pace. Seems like Mendes is the Kacha upgrade so now hopefully a few mids in, an MJ upgrade & possibly a more natural attacking mid to replace Lee. 

Going off this lads video reel I'd say he is gonna play behind the front 2 ?  He definately isnt gonna play as a winger or in our case wing back.

Pint to anyone who can name our starting xi against Lincoln.  

Feels like we might have finally landed someone who can make something out of nothing, have a run at players, take a fucken pop from range.

Don’t think he’s anything like Lee, has pace to burn can dribble, turn and run at defenders, and scores goals.

Never said he was but he will play behind the front 2 just like Lee did.

What we were crying out for, a midfielder who can score and make some magic happen. 

Too often we struggled for that extra bit of creativity in our attacks against stubborn defences. Carlos can hopefully be what I hoped Dapo would be in that #10 role.

Maybe this lad might play alongside a main striker, or even in a front three.

We have options at least, should Evatt fancy a change of formation for a particular game.

Exaclty this and exactly what we were trying to achieve with Kachunga.

Im still a bit bemused by the Big Dan signings if Im honest.

Yep, needs more confidence/self belief. Evatt will develop him and make him decent.
