Maybe not on here, as always, the discussion is more balanced.

But there’s a large majority elsewhere  who are writing someone off after 20 mins and making rash judgements on players and managers, who just love creating negative drama.

Some will lurk and possibly comment on here.

So it needs calling out for what it is.

We have some bloody drama queens following us.

FFS mate, I’ve removed these nob heads (and the anger that goes with reading it) from my life. You’re stressing my Monday morning out! 😂

Anyone have accurate intel on Forino and Dempsey?

Yes.

One is below the standard required and the other is half decent but always injured.

Hope that helps.

It's not a large majority though, it's a handful of knob heads trying to outdo each other with manufactured outrage and hyperbole. One of the reasons I came off twitter, sensible rational posts get lost and the screaming idiots get amplified, best to leave it alone.

No it doesn't help at all really. Flippant remarks probably means absolutely no knowledge of the situation.

Fuckin ell is that Wes still at it?

Brings back memories all that.

Getting banned off twitter was one of the best thing to ever happen to me.

What a cesspit of scum fuckery.

Here hoping SS can bring in players he wants not what Markham wants !

Schumacher is Head Coach, which should suit the folk who want the manager at every training session

I think theres every chance recruitment is on Markham

Iles asked the question at the weekend. Apparently, the process is: Schumacher tells Markham what position/type of player he wants. Markham finds realistic targets that fit that profile, with input from Ludonautics. Schumacher does the personal/character research. Schumacher gets final say.

Edit: Just seen he's posted an article about it this morning:

https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/24903347.bolton-wanderers-boss-club-scope-deadline-day-deals/

Schumacher has clarified the club’s position on recruitment, which is being driven by sporting director, Chris Markham, and also informed by the data company Ludonautics, owned by ex-Liverpool chief Ian Graham.

“The recruitment team here is similar to what we used in my time at Plymouth Argyle,” he said. “Obviously, there's a lot of data and there's a lot of background, there's a lot of recruitment and scouting, if you like, that all goes on before it comes to the manager or the head coach.

“So, my process would be deciding the profile of a player, which is a profile I can play in the system and the style that we want to. And then they would present three, four players, whatever, and it's up to me to decide if they're the right ones.

“And, obviously, you've got to go into your background checks and all that and see what the character's like before they come and play for this club.

“So, I'm really comfortable in the whole process and it was something, again, that attracted me to Bolton.

“It seems like this club make logical decisions and that's the way I like to work.

“It’s the sort of environment that I've worked in before and I thrived at. And when you have that relationship where everybody's on the same page, everybody wants to achieve the same objective and you work together in sort of unity, then you'll have a good chance of getting decisions right.

“So, I'm really happy with everyone behind the scenes. The training ground staff that I met on Friday were brilliant. It's a real good atmosphere in the training ground. I really liked it.

“There's something about it. It feels like it's got a good soul. I'm just delighted to be here and hopefully it's the start of a real exciting year.”

The Randell Williams tweet was down to a row he'd had with Evatt leading to him being frozen out, wasn't it?

I'd guess that the new boss might want to form his own/a different opinion on a player who has featured regularly for us.

He was training at Ashton Utd according to his insta story yesterday.

Was told yesterday Evatt was at loggerheads with two players and it got to the point where it was him or them.

I would hope the second player is moved as well. Fresh start with no previous baggage.

Just speculation, but it seemed blatantly obvious the players were pleased with his exit.

Hope the new bloke can get that energy back in the next two games. Don’t care how we do it, just win ‘em both.

The last tweet you quoted

I wonder if he'd have posted about donkeys if it weren't for the fact both players are black

I suspect not
