FFS. This isn't Behind The Stands. Most folk come on here to read bullshit rumours and conjecture, with the odd bit of accurate stuff thrown in. It's boring as fuck reading your personal squabbles.

We've just won promotion using a gaggle of players nobody else wanted, littered with injury plagued loanees and players that were cast as cart horses, one trick ponies and generally weak as piss.

Got this lad on a loan with an option, similar to the Cissoko deal.

Proper unproven, but a good age and exciting if he hits the ground running.

Style wise from what little is out there he reminds me a bit of that Rayan lad at Bournemouth.

Dongs out for the Wanderers.

I know we're riding on a high and he's a great character and finished the year in fine form, but i just don't believe that's true.

Madine was soft and had a stinking attitude, but in terms of footballing ability I think he was significantly clear of what Dalby is. They're just different players entirely in my eyes.

I know people have likened Dalby to Kevin Davies, I think for me the player he's most resembled for us in the past would be Jutkiewicz, strong as an ox, brings others in to the game around him, occupies multiple defenders and will score you goals through bravery and presence.

But I saw Madine score free kicks, run past players and score from 20+ yards, I don't think you're ever getting that from Dalby.

I agree Madine had a bit more than Dalby, as bad as he could be he also had decent shooting ability at times (he scored one from about 30 yards from wide left, as much as that was completely out of character its not something Dalby would attempt even from 20 yards). And Madine had that ridiculous strength to take a 40 yard pass on his chest, with a CB marking him tightly. Fair play to Dalby he also shows great strength too, but Madine was one of the best I've seen here at chest control.

I'd put them in a similar bracket ability wise, good L1 strikers (leaders of the line), strong as an ox, great control at times, will score a few headers each season, lacking pace and not great at shooting.

Trevor Morgan was similar at a lower level.

Juke was a class above all of them, one of my favourite strikers of relatively recent times, very classy with a great attitude and with skill and shooting ability, as comfortable running at goal as with is back to goal (Dalby relishes playing with his back to goal and his uncomfortable if he is forced to face goal!).

Welcome to King Dong

French second tier 6 goals and 3 assists in 31 games as a striker and a winger sounds wank

Am definately gonna boo if he doesn't score 2 against pne

He spent last season out on loan at Pau fc, in French 2nd division.

T'internet says he is a left winger.

Does that mean he will play on the right for us, or is he already "inverted" and will play on the left?

Did you read his full first name?

Bloody good job they put surnames on shirts.

I read his name out loud and my furniture started floating !

Looks similar to Tutu in running style etc, very much right footed.

So obviously he plays on the left.

Looking at the clips he seems more an orthodox right winger but seems capable of inverting to the left but with Gale on the left he might not be inverted. He actually looked good on the right and didn’t seem phased by going on the outside of defenders whereas Amario preferred to cut inside and shoot. Either way he looks a pacy character.

Looking at how these signings are panning out, it seems that we will have the option of playing both with full backs, or with wing backs.

Stephenson, according to that interview, has matured into a far greater attacking threat with a good engine.

..and he won’t get that amount of space in the Championship!

He’s 21 still learning so give the kid a chance. ACD didn’t exactly have a stellar record before he came and look how that turned out. He’s on loan so if he can’t step up he goes back just like others have but let’s hope he does and surprises us.

Does this close the door on ACD ?

Cissoko replacement if anything.

No, far from it.

We still need two right wingers really.

Looks like Dong can play both wings so at least he's versatile, we need a proper right winger plus maybe one more.
