Aye if Spearing is out, I assume he brings Thorpe in?

Don't see that midfield creating much. Mind you as Cas says tonight's 3 didn't seem to really do "enough". Or on Saturday.

But then again that's 6 points out of 6!

yes presume Thorpe will step in, the away form is a biggie.

If we win all our remaining home games that should secure a play off place normally 75ish required.

If we are to go up automatically would think we need to win 4 away games

Morais isn't a loan so Henry could play no problem if Taylor is crocked

He could, don't think anybody disputes that

He's just not going to get picked ahead of Morais

Notable for me last night was no Clayton. No mention of an injury?

Is Clayton just a bit shit or shit because of injury? I ask the question sincerely. I was thinking about this last night. 3 seasons now and I can't recall much

I felt the goal at Coventry showed he's got something but he's not looked good in recent sub stints and didn't cover himself in glory when MK equalised and to now be behind Wilkinson and Long might suggest he's had his chance

I dunno...suppose it depends if Parky thinks Long can cover for Madine

If not, I suppose he needs Wilkinson on the bench

Those saying ALF looked poor, I disagree.

I think he looked sharp and hung on the shoulder of the last man, we never played him in once despite having about 5 opportunities to.

I don't think we have a midfield capable of playing that pass, it's always sideways or backward and then up.

There was an easy ball for Spearing to play through to him second half and he opted for a more difficult pass sideways to Madine.

Hopefully the players get used to his runs and can utilise him.

Has anyone said that? He worked his bollocks off in thankless role last night

WTF is our goal keeping coach (if we have one) doing all week with our keeper, by the looks of it the instruction on a Monday morning must be

"Right, practice kicking the ball as high and as far as you can and under no circumstances throw the ball to one of your mates and then when you've done that do it again and again and on Friday you can stop, continue with this on Saturday, give your leg a rest on Sunday and then we can do it all again next week"

FFS we're better than that surely

You need to look up parallax error. This photo shows or proves nothing.

At the time it looked in. Picture looks like it is in. Linesman was dead in line and gave it.

The Rochdale players did not argue that much and the ref blew his whistle and pointed for a goal.

The evidence m'lud is overwhelming

Morais easily MOM, our only threat, worked hard, stream of good crosses. Agreed Vela wasted further back, pressing nowhere near as good last night, let them trundle out with it too easy a lot of second half.

We've just stopped playing any sort of football since turn of year and lack of pace in our play is striking - those walking footballers at half time moved the ball faster.

A win's a win this stage of season, no doubt, but I fear a string of 0-1 defeats in the away games we've got coming unless we start offering more of an attacking threat

That Dave Spikey lookalike kept running, though

Cheating get

I think 85 points will get you that 2nd place.

That's 28 points needed from 16 games (10 away).

There's some mighty tough aways in those 10 too.

The bookies say it's down to 3 - SU are 1/12 and us and Scunny are around 11/10. The rest are lead by Millwall 16/1 and 20/1+ Bradford and the like.

We should have enough in us to get that second spot but the injuries are sure mounting up and I pray that Spearing and the two big centre halves can remain injury free.
