Have you read the links Mounts?? The most ardent Brexiteer is admitting that Brexit (not a No Deal Brexit - that'll be even worse) will deliver in around 50 years from now when your kids will be grandparents. When did you share this bombshell with us in your prediction or are you saying you know more about this than JRM?

So JRM is now the font of all knowledge and the only voice to listen to when it comes to predicting the future?

FFS, you Remoaners will grasp at any straw.

Blimey. You are honestly the only person in the whole world who believes this I reckon

Nope. I am with him.

Short term pain for long term gain without a doubt.

Further, when the corrupt and failed political experiment fails, as it inevitably will, visionary Leavers will be blamed by the EU sycophants for causing or contributing to the downfall rather than acknowledged for having the foresight to do the right thing.

Clean break and keep the 39 billion quid. Fuck em.

If any remainer had said on here we wouldn't see a brexit bonus for 2 generations we would have been casitigated. I doubt most Leave voters would have voted the way they did if they knew then what JRM has known all along.

Interesting to see you believing that he's 100% correct with this one but not with any of his other Brexit ideas. Talk about selective fucking hearing.

No point...his terrorist friends who he funds do that for him.

Considering the hysteria that follows Trump around you'd think western governments would be railroaded into refusing talks with any state that funds Islamic terrorism.

I know that's a tad simplistic but . . .

On the flip side, what folk want to get up to in their own countries is up to them.  I don't agree with stoning or beheading folk (generally - I'd happily do both to those acid throwing m0ngs) but if that's what the folk want leave em to it.  It is quite amusing that I've never heard Owen Jones and the like talk about such actions by Islamic states.  To be fair, maybe he has but I've never seen any of it?

edit - actually, that's not true I'm sure we all remember this beaut

Great article isn’t it P and all from a former soppy remain voter.

Surprised those lot on here haven’t tried to dissect it.

Nobody who signs up to the opinions expressed in that article can ever vote Conservative though. So therein lies a problem for old Bolty. That is the lefts leavers argument.

But the whole thrust of it, is arguing against neoliberal conservative economic policy. Against the policy of tight fiscal control, austerity, cuts etc....the exact opposite of Conservatism.

Which means if you buy into its argument for social democracy, you are naturally voting for Labour next election....

Or do you lot just subscribe to any argument that suits whichever side you are on at any time and have absolutely no beliefs or principles at all? I've no idea what your economic politics are, but Bolty has made his views very clear. No way can he subscribe to that argument without being a massive hairy whopper.

That’s a bit rich from you lot isn’t it ?

Especially after thinking Project Fear is the best thing since sliced bread for the last two years.

And you’re patronising and generalising once again.

"No, do you?"

'No but look at this report from blah blah blah...'

'no it doesnt! and i'll think youll find..."

Nice side step. So, simple question. Do you believe in that argument you posted, that leaving the EU is good because it allows us to adopt a more socialist economic model?

A yes or no will suffice.

I think you will find 'crisp' or 'crisps' more divisive.

Not gone into what jrm had to say; was he taking into account the £39bn into his thinking?

Either way, 50 years is too far ahead. A sense of benefit or not should be gleaned well before then.

It is not clear but with or without the £39b factored in no one raised this from the Leave side. It's a lose lose scenario and if the electorate were told this then surely more than 2/100 Leave voters would have switched sides knowing full well that people are likely to lose their jobs and probably their homes because of Brexit. Multi millionaire Rees Mogg will be just fine thank you very much
