Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 24, 2018 Site Supporter Share Posted July 24, 2018 It is not clear but with or without the £39b factored in no one raised this from the Leave side. It's a lose lose scenario and if the electorate were told this then surely more than 2/100 Leave voters would have switched sides knowing full well that people are likely to lose their jobs and probably their homes because of Brexit. Multi millionaire Rees Mogg will be just fine thank you very much Could he have been referring to brexit according to the chequers deal? Fook knows, and frankly I'm not overly bothered. I share his 'leave' persuasion but little else. Will make my own judgement in 5-10 years. Maybe a bit longer but not 50.
Sweep
I see that May has taken control of negotiations now.....I'll bet the EU are shitting themselves. Now that she's got rid of them pesky "leavers" she now has a clear run to negotiate a piss poor deal that will have us leaving, but actually staying in
miamiwhite
Why post something you disagree with then? Sorry Ducky, i isn’t explain in full. Moderators Casino Posted July 24, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 24, 2018 We need to drop our collective trolleys bend over and hope it doesn't hurt too much There's no good way out of this, just degrees of badness Or maybe you're right and it's a fantastic opportunity and 40 years of pain is a fair price to pay

Then proceeded to challenge people with it. Ok then. Pretty embarrassed for you tbh. Ok ...let’s get picky now shall we.. Did I say I didn’t agree with the entire article or just the actual quote you asked about ? That quote is the only section I didn’t agree with....the rest of it is a very accurate reflection of the failed EU corrupt system and its shambolic policies, but you being the selective person you are conveniently side stepped that didn’t you ? You just can’t face up to the truth that your beloved EU is starting to fall apart right before your boss eyes. Me an embarrassment ? As I said above, look on the mirror for one absolute whopper of an embarrassment. Now...enjoy your evening Mr Selector.

ZiggyStardust
If you want a serious answer then the only solution is a united Ireland but that has to be a decision for NI There is a provision in the GFA for just this, in that the People of Northern Ireland can, by act of the Northern Ireland Assembly, call for a devolution vote, and join a re-united Ireland, therby leaving the Union. There is a lso a provision whereby a citizen of NI can have citizenship in both The Republic, and the Union. Both these provisions would cease to be applicable once Brexit happens, but all we hear about is the weaponisation of the Border issue. Members bolty58
Sorry Ducky, i isn’t explain in full. Leaving the EU will be good but not in a socialist economy. And I’ll post whatever I like, you little jumped up Nazi Fanny 5 has to pigeon hole everything and everybody. He's fucked when something doesn't seem to add up in his imaginary pre-ordained order. Good example is traditional Labour voters in the north voting Leave in droves. He denies it but there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is furtively pushing the Corbyn agenda whilst issuing vehement denials. Ignore is the best policy but I sadly get to see some of his codified deception when others use the quote function. What a fucking moment of joy in my day that really is

Members bolty58
If you want a serious answer then the only solution is a united Ireland but that has to be a decision for NI ...and the likelihood right now is close to zero. Having said that, the more the south distances itself from control by the church and generally liberalises, who knows? Might take a generation or two but might it be a more palatable thought in the future?

Sadly, there’s a lot of playground name calling that seems to have appeared if you don’t agree with some of the hard rights agenda. The first insults/playground name calling was from Remainers. How did it go now - oh, yes, that's it - "owd, thick, racist cunts". Not sure name calling is purely the domain of hard right or hard left for that matter, Seems to be across the board Howardy, Howardy custard
birch-chorley
To be fair Bolty, the only leave voters that got labelled “own, thick, racist cunts” were the Owd, thick, racist cunts Plenty of them voted that way “to send the pakis back”, “send the Eastern Europeans back” etc Clearly, they are all fucking embarrassment’s to the country and shouldn’t be allowed to vote, as I’m sure you’ll agree I can’t recall anyone on this board fitting in to such a bracket but still plenty of evidence of it elsewhere
