Here is the really sad thing, the life saving drugs have been delayed because of Brexit, the fact that is going out or coming in is not really relevant. 
Some people will not be getting their treatment, the UK firm will not be getting their income. No one is winning. 
In the same article it talks about loads of meat being destroyed because of the new rules. 
You can argue that the EU are to blame for enforcing rules that we are deciding to ignore, but they are the new rules that come into effect because of Brexit. The ones we signed up to. 
The argument about shellfish is exactly the same. We have negotiated a trade deal with the EU, the argument now is that the EU is to blame because they are enforcing these rules. As I say no one is winning

Lots of claims of visionaries on this thread but as I said months ago this will now simply become a case of pro Brexit people claiming everything as a victory for Brexit and Leavers saying the same stories prove why leaving is wrong.

No one is winning, be that a German not getting their drugs (remember when all lives mattered) or UK exporters with goods going off at the border.

Valid points but we are in a transitional period as you know full well.

The future when everything is ironed out and running smoothly will prove The Visionaries are correct. We have had a glimpse into the future regardless of paperwork and transitional period, and that was with the EU vaccine behaviour. You agreed that was shocking, expect more of it.

In my view neither side is covering itself in glory, the EU won a gold medal in the 'making a twat of ourselves awards' but we have signed up to a set of rules that the cynic in me says was fine for the political 'tariff free' headlines but have missed out on the frictionless aspect. Sure you are as concerned as anyone about how this plays out in the long term for NI, I still do not see how it can work

To be fair, cancer drugs being delayed or destroyed due to border issues is not good news regardless of which way they were going.

It will all get sorted at some point I am sure but a lot of money is going to be wasted in the meantime.
