Mmm. Interesting.

Haha.

Self righteous to the last.

X is a cess pit, full of extreme views on every conceivable subject, on each side of an argument.

Been that way for ages, so why now?

I have a slight suspicion that they won't be the only ones, given that the police are now sniffing.

‘X’ - Twitter has always been the same. People with common sense should be able to determine the right from wrong. (no pun) If they think it’s full of extremism or even right wing views then surely they should remain on the platform to counter any such views.

If Owen Jones (Guardian columnist) decides to leave as well, he’ll cease to be relevant. If he actually ever was.

Therein lies the problem

Just been listening to a podcast and 25% of republicans think the US government is ran by satanic pedos.

Never forget that a large proportion of people are thick as mince and easily manipulated.

That’s an interesting fact. Can you give us some proof? For us with some common sense.

edit.

Sorry, only read halfway down the article. Ironic that it’s from the Guardian. Fewer will be able to see the truth with their decision to leave X. I’ve probably posted more articles from them through reading stuff on X.

Yep.

Brexit showed that.

It's hardly surprising is it? Twitter was a social media forum that at least presented itself as apolitical or impartial. Musk, through his desperate attempts to ingratiate himself with Trump has clearly indicated the future of X.  It'll be the SM equivalent of Fox News and no self respecting media organisation will want to be seen to be endorsing it.

The futures bluesky anyway!

Enjoy.👍

What if he buys that?

With this X thing. Are those who are right of centre or left of centre or further left or right of centre or those who don’t know where centre is, still able to express their views?
If so, why all the fuss? 🤷‍♂️

Twitter has always been a cesspit but it's got twice as bad under Musky bollocks

Difficult to quantify. I’m not a Musk fan. I think your first line is correct. People talking about moving to Bluesky. Let’s see how long before that becomes the same.

They are, but citing my previous example, if you're a centrist or left leaning media organisation, you're not going to spend much time promoting your company on Fox News, when you've a more willing audience and revenue streams elsewhere.

BBC News is the only reliable news source and not propaganda, do keep up

It's fucking crucifying their correspondents having to report on The Dons clean sweep. They try everything they can to promote a negative for Trump and, conversely, a positive for the vanquished.

They'll be concocting a plan for reporting when the retribution starts. Me too. A carton of Tooheys and bucket of salted snacks. It is going to be brutal.

Predictable. Their editorial team must be apoplectic. The less heard from them the better so not posting is a good start.

It’s nice to see this new administration concentrating on the important issues.
