Makes for grim reading. Transparency is great until you realise just how perilous our situation is

Yep

becoming a very vicious circle this. Granted, the club and its future are on a more even keel than we were 18 months - 2 years ago but everything the comes out at the moment strikes me it is still, in spite of all of the reductions in salary, re financing debts, just bobbing its head above water. We're living hand to mouth

for all the talk of investment nothing has advanced. We need funds to progress in order to make us a more attractive proposition for Investors / Buyers. Without it, we stumble along as we are and those investors / buyers keep their distance

Never seen such a bad preparation for a season.

The club is going to get annihilated without some investment, how come every investor we’ve had approach us has either been corrupt or inadequate.

The board need to network more with potential buyers, and stop attracting dodgy people in.

It feels like every goddamn season is a scrap to our absolute limit, in terms of our resources.

Even if we make 6/7 signings within a week, we need to prepare them, improve their fitness, and get embedded in to the squad before the 1st match.

Not happening, I kind of feel sorry for Parky, as he probably has no idea who his squad will be come WBA away.

Anderson’s should be ashamed, our season ended in April, not prepared one bit.

The fact that we only seem to attract chancers is really concerning

Again, Yep

i do actually trust Kens judgement on this matter. They all seem to be absolute clowns who are showing an interest.

There must however be a time where he thinks, enough is enough and goes against his head and brings someone in he knows he shouldnt just to give himself some breathing space

as the current situation cannot and will not continue for the next 2-3 years

One of the strangest posts ever on here.

Anderson’s should be ashamed of what ?

I am a long way off thinking KA is a god but if we have a set amount of money we can spend and players want more should he risk our long term future ?

Interesting comment about ex players having to settle for less at a lower level. Sounds like we are not the push over we used to be.

The truth is that there aren't that many people in the world with the means and desire to buy a football club. I guess its a bit like having a 5M quid house in Bolton. In London you will shift it in the right area. In Bolton it will be on the market a long old time before someone wants to put an offer in. Even then they might not be the people you'd want to sell it to.

Thinly veiled dig in response to a thinly veiled dig. He doesnt take shit lying down ill give him that

i agree to be honest. Some we have had were very fortunate to be playing Championship football. Whether they then thought they were deserving of Championship money i dont know

But where they have ended up shows their actual standing in the football pyramid

sounds like that's all you will get if you aren't actively touting the club for sale or investment

feels  like we're either going to get someone with money to burn who has heard of us or is in the market and happens to ask, or someone who has little to no money, but thinks fuck it, they're desperate, I'll give it a shot and see what I can pull off

fake bank statements though FFS

and until then, we're probably living from month to month
