He's an agent - not every little thing he does will be about Bolton Wanderers. He's probably having a jolly. I don't think he'd be negotiating sale of the club given he doesn't own it, isn't a director and isn't even an employee. If he were then I doubt he'd be putting pictures about. Quote

I suspect he uses twitter in the same way he always has. The only people its a problem for are the simpletons who cannot realise that a bloke absent mindedly typing into his phone isn't necessarily speaking directly to them or about the subject they want him to. I don't for the life of me get why Iles or any journalist for example bothers arguing with folk on twitter. To be pedantic that is totally irrelevant. BWFC is owned by Burnden Leisure, which itself is owned by Inner Circle Investments (Ken Anderson's business which bought the club from Eddie Davies along with Holdsworth and his Sports Shield BWFC company. Davies himself probably owned Burnden Leisure from his Moonshift Investments Limited offshore business of which he is a director - Isle of Mann registered I think. So Lee COULD (I'm not saying he has) be an employee of his dads business and have full authority to bring about a sale of one of the business's assets - ie our club. Alternatively he could be working in a capacity as an 'agent' employed by the club/Burnden Leisure/Inner Circle (whichever one of them being the client) to bring about the sale of the club. What I'm trying to say is don't underestimate the authority of Lee Anderson to do business on behalf of the club simply because he is not named a director or employee of it. As for tweeting he's free to do what he likes. As long as his father the clubs sole owner (or owner of 95% of it) is happy with what he does then he has no one else to answer to. If people want to hang on his every tweet, then that is up to them, although grown men looking for a retweet because they've bought the latest shirt or renewed their Season Ticket or something seems rather sad to me, but then again I come from a time before social media and accepted behaviour on it, had been invented. Finally I certainly would not underestimate the clear intelligence of Lee Anderson based on his tweets and pictures of him wearing club merchandising like many have. I suspect he is very astute and far more intelligent than his detractors would love him to be. Quote
