  • For the record, I've never had any business dealings with captainmed. I hardly know the bloke and he certainly doesn't know me or my business. It's not the best review I've had, but you can't win

Long time since I camped but Shell Island in North Wales was great last time I was there, great beach, camp fires and a bar/cafe/restaurant on site but as I say over 10 years ago

And whilst we're doing stab in the darks, anybody been to Plzen, just trying to sort our Jollyboys out for October for the England match

Anyone recommend any decent campsites    Within 2hrs of Manchester? Preferably with a pool

Brotherswater, no pool but top location at the foot of the Kirkstone Pass.

Lakeland, Haven site at Flookburgh near Grange-over-sands in the South lakes, only 1hr 15mins away.

Indoor and outdoor pools, great place for the kids with plenty to do

Yes mate, I’ve been in a drunken stupor many times.

Great place.

Hope that helps :D

New York cancelled cos Doris's ankle hasn't healed, and at least another 3 weeks in plaster. Portugal a week earlier also in doubt for her... Might not be a bad thing 😂

5 of us fly into Gibraltar on the morning of the Czech game, 2 nights

Me, one of my brothers, my sisters and their husbands are off to Barbados last week in November for two weeks for one of my sisters 60th.  We will miss Accrington away unfortunately.   The furthest ive ever been Westerly is Port Meirion in Wales.

You're like an old man, get somewhere different booked, there's thousands of islands out there, get to Lakka on Paxos for a change

Eagle-Palapa-Aruba-Paradise-Photos.jpgAruba is less than 2 weeks away now, staking out the Turtles nests on Eagle Beach. (That by the way, is when the

beach is busy)

Told you, I don't think I can be arsed with ferries

Other than that, looks great

Fwiw, I'm pretty sure you would like AG

Especially the pink palace

Madeira is good if you can get past everyone loving that living strap on that is the gay Ronaldo😂

Won a few quid in our Last Man Standing at the weekend so just booked two nights in Berlin in December. Return flights and staying in Park Inn on Alexanderplatz for £280 including breakfast so not bad at all. Christmas markets, currywurst and (hopefully) Union Berlin v Hoffenheim, that'll do for me.

I can highly recommend Toronto as a holiday destination, loads to do and some incredible eateries. Off to the CN tower this afternoon to take in the views and dinner in the revolving restaurant tonight. Fly off to NYC tomorrow, booked tickets for a Yankees game and for a couple of  clubs so can't wait!

Stayed in AG on 3 seperate occassions serveral times, in fact before the easiness of booking flights and hotels via the internet, my travel agent who booked my Greek holidays was based in AG, her name was Robin. Had to and pick some flight tickets up from her around 93 when I was staying in Benitses. Got to the tracel agents and the tickets were in somebody else is name, she'd just crossed it out and written our names on in biro. The departure staff and cabin crew never blinked an eye at the tickets, before 9/11 though when air travel security was very lax to say the least

Stayed in Playacar just outside Playa del Carmen once at the New Rui Palace and twice at the Rui tequila (before it was done up)

Really nice place, beach is stunning gated Area so nice and safe but Carmen only a short walk away.

Last trip we stayed at the Royalton wow what a Hotel.just to far out of the way for us but hands down up there as one of best hotels we stayed at.

Trips loads chichen itza a long day and warm but one to tick off as is Coba Ruins, you could climb that but I think may of been stopped now. Tulum again just nice to tick off with a cenote after.

Xel ha for your dolphins etc

Boats trips to isla contoy and mujeres.

And Coco Bongos is dear for what it is but on holiday so just enjoy.

And book with Tui so you can fly on the dreamliner

I love Croatia, we had a tour round last summer. Very much like Italy but less commercialised. Where about are you going?

Vegas again for me tomorrow.
