Do folk still jump from 50 metres in the air into a paddling pool?

I think that stopped when big curly moustaches went out of fashion

He liked to relax in W3, especially as it's only £10 on "Mittwoch Madness"

This is fantastic. Just can't be arsed or doesn't have the heart to wring the fuckers neck, so let's it live on top of his head and rule his life.

I saw a group of divers at Blackpool Pleasure Beach once where they dived into a pool around 6’ deep from 20-30 yards up. I say dived; more belly flopped and slapped the water, spread-eagled to stop them going too far in.

John Williams is a wonderfully evocative composer.

When I watched the film, Schindler’s List I first assumed the track running in the background was music of the period. It seems Spielberg asked him for “Some mournful Jewish music” or something.

Spent an hour or so "in the company" of Jonathan Ross yesterday listening to his classic FM show of the top 100 movie themes. Don't know where it started but we got most of the top 20!

My brother also told me about a concert in Manchester; something about Zimmer v Williams (or similar), with some of their best tunes being played. Sounds great.

Bridgewater Hall has Best of John Williams 17th September.
