Walking all the way up St Helens Rd to Walsh's, convincing yourself it actually was a shop, going in and being asked what size you were only for the gent in an apron to look at your feet and tut and say you were wrong.

Need a mortgage for some v-ripple these days.

I popped over to the Reebok shop a couple of times in Bradley Fold.

My mates mum worked there. Used to get some bargains. Although most were saved for the PE teachers the arse licking cunt that he was

Used to run it with a big cigar in his mouth, was impressed at the time🤔

It was probably a petrified turd he'd pulled out of some corpse's arse at Leeds General

Did they ever dig the c*nt up? Always have doubts if someone wants to be encased in 80 tonnes of concrete in their grave...

And surely it was up Plodder Lane (the Bolton Beast - the hill, not Savile) not down..?

I think they did

He'd asked to be buried upright facing the North Sea near Scarborough (I think). Something daft.

I expect they just chucked whatever they dug up in a landfill

Remember seeing the taxi ride to Blackpool on a few occasions, that was Saville and all wasn't it?

Does that not happen in most cities/towns? Not to Blackpool but a day out for the disabled kiddies and stuff courtesy of the taxi drivers?

didn't think it was linked to saville

Not sure mate, I could have sworn my mum said it was organised by him, they were all black cabs from Manchester.

Christ, I learnt to swim at both Moss Street and Farnworth baths.

Next time the kids moan about there not being a slide/outdoor section/wave machine not working....

Did all my badges at Moss Street baths.

Farnworth baths was proper posh in comparison

Used to do it in Salford when I was a kid for sure and still do it now up here as well. Fuck knows where they take them but it’s a great effort from the black cab drivers

I do now

Watched my dad play there. He told me it used to be a cinema and the projectionist hung himself there.

Got my first proper football boots (i.e not Woolworth ones) from there -  a pair of Puma Dalglish
