It has to be seen to be fair or people really will start to get restless. Ideally, set a target of, say, 200 per 100k and it's lockdown+ Anything beneath, and you can open up. People just might start to behave if a clear target exists. Possibly. Or not.

Suicides, RTA's per year are miles below what we've already had with covid for 7 months. Flu average is 7k ish per Yr, cancer is 165k a year, but its not transmissible so you can't spread it to others, apart from bumming. Or until the number of cases comes right down like it was a couple of months ago. Which probably isn't going to happen while the kids are at school. So we might need to get used to it sadly! Conspiracy theory no 129. We are lab rats in Bolton. Shut the pubs - see what happens. 2 weeks later - figures still rising . ( woah hang on) 3weeks later - figures falling . See it was the pubs. Keep em shut. Rates higher in 8 other places . Keep pubs open till ten . What about Bolton ? Boltons our bench mark.Keep the pubs shut , theres less folk to kick off there than the North East and Landan .

Moderators Casino Posted September 29, 2020 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2020 asked this before, nobody answered Id ask boris but he wont know Places not in special measures, can folk visit each other if you distance? Site Supporter only1swanny Posted September 29, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted September 29, 2020 Told before in KFC (Bury) that we couldn't order inside unless we download the app... Needless to say we just went home, not being told I have to download an app to buy food. School in St Helens tested all its pupils, 40 kids tested positive (asymptomatic) and as such the school has closed for 2 weeks. The testing was done in conjunction with PHE, and i doubt they will be doing that one again.

Nice, we took him out for a quick walk, then went to a local Turkish restaurant, had some beautiful grilled meats and a could of bottles of Efes then came home. It was most pleasant

Escobarp
What is the issue folk have with this app? Other than the main one that it was launched by a tory government of course? Are there any real justified objections?

Friend of mine’s missus is an NHS Sister. He reckons she had the app and she got a message telling her to isolate. She rang the hospital and was told to ignore it by them and crack on if she had no symptoms as it can’t tell how close they will have been to the infected and “their could even have been a walk-in between” I don’t believe he’s lying but the whole thing beggars belief. I do have other friends who are convinced it’s just a data collection exercise. Digital slavery as Ian Brown would say 🤷🏽♂️

If someone comes into KFC whilst I'm there and then tests positive, I have to self isolate, my work place doesn't have to pay me. If social distancing works, then it doesn't make sense. Plus in the 4 months I've had this phone, I haven't had location on once. I'm not a fan of having my data used and companies do it often in small print. Hence me receiving phone calls most days where my insurance company passed on my crash details. I don't even have a nectar or clubcard. It's personal choice.
