Correct. I’ve watched something on it today and they confirmed it isn’t airborne. So not sure why someone would make such a claim and profess to be an expert ?

What the fuck do WHO know? If Fan5 says it's airborne, it's fucking airborne.

Fella who lives near me is still going out to work

Suppose he could be on refurbs or business premises

Good luck to him, anyway

It cant be easy

Yes, don't blame him.

As I said before, there is undoubtedly some greyness around all this, probably a necessity to keep some economic activity going.

Medical folk I would assume will answer a question with what is recommended from a medical point of view.

Government seem to be allowing a certain amount of decision making by the public. Whether that will continue, not sure.

Yeah, theres the headline stiff, the three or 4 bullet point summary, but in the text, it states quite clearly about keeping the economy going and how you must go to work if it cant be done at home

no worries mate, just venting my spleen, shouting at the internet.

My mrs works in business travel, she's an operations manager, been kept on for now so still has to work but has been asked to take unpaid leave, 90 % of the staff are furloughed, they won't last very long.

Not sure if it's any help to you mate, but hoping it is

Bullet points were clear.

Unfortunately when you drill into the work area, it definitely becomes unclear. Not sure they can stop that, unless they ban all but essential work, even then the list of who that encompasses would have to be published quickly.

Is this true?

And dont forget, my 'rant' was about whether it was only so called essential workers who should be going to work

The government starement was very clear

Then the press fucked up and reported it incorrectly

As did the govts Twitter and gov.uk

Which is a very shit state of affairs

Im hoping heads rolled....shambles

Yeah sorry I mean it is contracted from the air via droplets. Not just surfaces. Whilst not technically "airborne" it doesn't require contact with shared surfaces is what I mean...

I guess that is why we are keeping minimum 2 meter distance ein work, and any jobs that require closer contact the Guys have to wear masks, so they don't spread any spittle etc.

My neighbour who was taken away in an ambulance has passed away.

Was told it wasn't CV at the time, but not so sure.

Another wanderer gone.

God bless.

Sorry to hear that. I think there will be a lot more posts like this before this thing is done.

Yes but in China they’ve shown no touch transmission from up to 10M and even with time delay....

Thus avoiding Employer and employee national insurance payments which every single person who takes payment via dividends in lieu of salary is doing. Knowingly. Yet want to complain about it when it goes wrong.

but paying corporation tax 19% of profit before wages and dividends  - do the maths if you want, pick any number under £50K see what the difference is.

Tell you what’s weird

Having watched the news for a couple of hours, I’ve not seen a single report from inside or just outside a hospital.

Usually, reporters would be stationed at epicentres.

I know there are distancing rules, but that’s never stopped the media from doing their “job”.

Has some sort of reporting ban been put in place? Seen loads of reports from hospitals in Italy and Spain...

Really? Thanks for the lesson but wasn’t needed

I’m just making my point. We pay NI for a reason.  Some people avoid paying it where possible. That’s my point. End of. No right no wrong just facts

The hospitals are all empty, the virus is a lie and we're all being lied to because a comet is going to hit earth and kill us all, the governments are trying to stop the panic
